About gigs, impressions and orders

I created my fiverr account 3 years ago, however I only created a gig just this year, March 2017. My 6 gigs has 1000 average impressions and 25 average clicks on every gig, but the sad thing is, out of 100 click/view I only got 3 orders. Is this normal? What more can I do to have more orders? Or should I edit my gigs? My 3 clients were happy and gave me 5 stars. Actually my account is old but I am new to this platform. I hope some of you can help.

I think you should Edit your gig, you can add explainer video and if you don’t have one, use clear photos on your Gigs. However, it’s normal for your impressions and clicks to be more than the order you receive… That could based on individual differences

Also, you could read Influence by Robert Cialdini and Get Anyone to Do Anything by David J. Lieberman.

Wow that’s impressive. You’ve pretty much been a total reference on fiverr.

Obviously the goal is to get the highest conversion rate you can, however, your numbers indicate that there’s definitely room for improvement.

I did a small analysis of my stats from yesterday for comparison:
Out of 2400 impressions, I had 140 people view my gig. That’s about 5%. Out of the 140 people that viewed my gig, I got 20 orders which is about 15%.

While I’m extremely happy with those numbers, my goal would definitely be to convert at least a quarter of the people who view my gig into sales. You won’t be able to win everyone over and setting up unrealistic expectations can lead to disappointment. Blaise provided some GREAT points to help improve your gig and convert more sales. I’m in the midst of working on a video myself and I’m hoping it’ll give me the boost I’m looking for 🙂

I think an explainer video will to a great extent change the situation
