Help After Entring Level 1 Seller!

Hi, I started out ok this year, achieving a level one status in a month+, but after achieving that status, every thing dropped. Impressions went from 800 to below 100, clicks and views started to fade away and I’ve not had any offers since then. Can anyone take a look at my gigs and tell me what’s wrong? Or does this happen often (like slow months of the year)?

Hi there 🙂 It;s February and it’s full work time. Sorry I work in different criteria so can not advise on your gig, as far I see everything is good. Possibly your gig loose rank in gig search. If you having a low number of order you can search opportunities in Buyer Request. Try to get some job from there, by that you can earn some good impression for your gig.

Hello, Yeah I can probably say that most of us have some slow months alright.

Things can definitely change on how easily your gig shows up for buyer’s search results through time. What I try to do is keep my gigs updated often (speaking of I must remove valentines day stuff haha)
If a gig is doing bad, I’d probably look at how it’s presented through everything; images, videos, description, tags. I would also check out competitors and see how they are doing, I’ve even reached out to a few on some tips.

Your gigs and profile looks good to me, I’d say maybe try what I said above if your impressions is very low. Same with the comment above, the Buyer Request section is great to frequently check out.

Best of luck.

We’re led to believe that new sellers get higher ranking in the search, which means that having reached level 1 you may have dropped down a bit from where you were before. (To be fair, I’m not sure if that’s true because there are good and bad and highly-reviewed and new arrivals on page 1 of 3D render).

Unfortunately I couldn’t find your 3d render gig anywhere by doing a search and I’m not an expert on the search so I don’t know why it’s not showing, but you might want to look at your tags. For the 3D render, popular tags are just 3D, and 3D rendering so you might want to add those to that gig. To find the best tags to use, a good way is to type a short bit of what people will search for into the search box and see what suggestions it comes up with.

Thanks for the info. Sadly I didn’t use any of the tags you mentioned in your previous posts but am working on updating them now. @arron_webexpert and @wp_kid, as for the buyer requests, am always sending daily but the list has some bugs for me (I made a previous post about that issue)

Dear Snebo:

What name do you like to be called? Your customers want to know what to call you.

I took a quick look at your profile:

Your profile image: I suggest a COLOR image of your SMILING face. Be approachable.
Your log line: is too negative. Come up with something more positive. Never say never.
Your profile text – note the edits:

I am a college student currently studying computer science. I offer excellent 3D modeling for both interior, exterior, product and object designs and renders. I also host a handful of excellent and satisfaction guaranteed typing related skills and experience on pdf and Ms application. -Snebo [or whatever name Buyers should call you.]

All your gigs should have video, 3 images (personal to you, not stock images), 2 pdfs (for more samples), and so on…

Make a video of yourself talking to the camera, because this approach garners IMMEDIATE RESULTS. Include additional samples in the video! Now in your case, that’s not absolutely necessary, but what is necessary are videos showing your 3D renders.

You should have a YouTube channel in which you show off your renders with links to your Fiverr profile. You should learn how to make effective use of Twitter, with screen shots of your various renders, links to your best YouTube videos, and links to your Fiverr profile. Ditto for Facebook, Instagram, Chum Hum, wherever…

If you are good at rendering, you should not have to rely on the Fiverr search engine for business.

I suggest you drop the pdf and typing gigs. Build gigs around keywords for the software you use for renders.

You should be able to make awesome commercial videos that do not rely on Minions and offer custom looks for buyers willing to pay more. Set those prices for what they are worth, then offer bargains to Buyers in the Buyer Requests section until your growing momentum means you’re paid what you’re worth. You should be a natural for real estate videos, for example. Brainstorm places where your specific renders can fit. This means you must study all the Fiverr listings to find your niches. You can be as successful on Fiverr as you choose, assuming you’re creating your renders and not just regurgitating some template.

Which is not to say you are not free to build your own template to simplify matters.

Your gigs do not complement each other, so you should probably work on that. Fortunately for you, there’s a link below that addresses that.

Good luck,
Blaise

Thanks for ALL the information. Seems like I still need to make some changes, and will drop those off and typing gigs (I thought they would have provided more). And as for social media, I don’t really have that many followers, and I don’t think any of them require those services (except that 2-3% from Facebook). But I would definitely give YouTube a try.

I had a similar experience. My account was open 2 years before but I just started this month. After Reaching Level 1 My gigs impressions dropped. But I noticed something. My best selling Gig impression dropped but another gig seem to be getting the attention. What is working for me now is the good customer service I offer, Repeat buyers.
I would also suggest you hunt jobs over at buyers request. Try to make an offer in the first 5 or 10. Create a personalised offer. What I do is dare the buyer. I give them an overview of what I think they want and ask them to contact me for more information. The buyer needs to be assured you can do that. I am of the opinion that the gigs will pick up speed in a few, but who really knows.

Dear Snebo:

You can study how to use Twitter effectively.

You don’t really need followers.

You need to make effective use of hashtags.

There are lots of sources to educate you – I’m confident that if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything.

Good luck,

Blaise

Was to be expected. In my experience getting jobs from the buyer request section will get your account back in the game. It seem that if teh longer you take to deliver an order the more your rank declines. Once you get a few deliveries it will be just like old days :). Well in my experience
