  1. A buyer Send me a sample work to me, is it? can i provide sample work i also add the video of my work in my gig
  2. I worry that the value for money question will result only in a “race to the bottom” on pricing. Here’s a possible, scenario (and I hope I’m wrong on this). Decent sellers (who charge appropriately) will start getting bad ratings because, when prompted with a question on value for money, many buyers (even after agreeing to a price and being very happy with the result) will simply think, “well, it could have been cheaper”. This is a natural thought that most rational people will have. Of course it could be cheaper. However, that doesn’t mean it should be cheaper. So decent sellers will start to lose business as their ratings steadily fall, so then they’ll be forced to lower their prices. Then what? They’ll get more orders, at a lower rate and deliver work worth much more than they’re charging. However, many buyers, when asked about the value for money will still think, “well, it could have been cheaper”, because of course it could! Now the cycle repeats and everyone’s prices are forced lower and lower. It used to be that decent services cost more, but now decent sellers will have to undercharge or take a hit on orders as their ratings drop. This could be even more pronounced for Pro and Top Rated Sellers, seeing as buyer expectations will be even higher for them (understandably). I do think there are times that one can get a perfect score for value for money. Getting tipped is a good indicator that a buyer thinks the service was worth more than they paid. However, this might indicate that the seller should be raising their prices, putting them at more risk of getting poorer scores for “value for money”. I hope I’m wrong on this but I think it’s a reasonable concern. I just hope in two years time we’re not going to be in a place where everyone charges $5 for everything and has a 3.5 star average. I think the quality of the delivery and the cost of delivery are very important measures, but they should not be measured in one rating. These should be two separate questions as they are both variables in their own right.
  3. Unfortunately, this has ALWAYS been the case. Once a buyer has swiped their card and made the payment - we are supposed to cater to them. It doesn't matter whether buyer was confused, mistaken, unsure, misinformed or just trying out things!! People had instances where buyer placed the order while being drunk... System refuses to take any reasoning into account and punishes a seller by default. If someone pays $100 and asks for the moon - by hook or crook, I need to fly, fetch and deliver the moon.🫠
  4. So I just posted a request for the first time, and I assumed I would be able to see this somewhere, and maybe get info on how many people had seen it, number of responses, etc. But I can't seem to find this anywhere? So where can I see information about requests I've put out? Is this not possible?
  5. I am here a new seller. I have a commitment of giving my full time to it. planning to reach top rated in one go. please suggest and share thoughts very motivated and excited, how many of you think I can do it in straight flow by delivery good quality of work and efficiency? does it really matter to be a good freelancer by giving all 100% fair or buyer thoughts and vibes also matter as I do know buyers are the evaluators and ultimate consumers of services we will deliver. Open for good suggestion and to make a good community here regards
  6. I think the concept of "value for money" is very relative. What one person considers "value" may be irrelevant to another, or another person may regard it as "lack of value". Then we bring into the equation "managing buyer expectations" and cross-cultural nuances that may result in misunderstanding and different perspectives on what "value for money" really is -- not to mention the more difficult clients which are hard to please. It paints a very messy picture, in my opinion, unless there is widespread consensus and clear definition of how "value for money" is defined...and delivered.
  7. I have a gig that has received some impressions but no sales. OK, nothing new there. It got me thinking though... could my description or tags be causing my gig to appear in the wrong searches? I have no way of knowing since I don't see the search criteria used by buyers that pulls in my gig as an option. Is there a way for a seller, like me, to get the search criteria used by buyers?
  8. So I had one of those buyers who ask for Y, purchase an order for Y, are told throughout the entire order we're developing Y and, after delivery, that buyer requests additional Z (not wanting to pay extra). After realizing I was never supposed to deliver Z, but only Y, the buyer gave up and simply accepted the delivery, leaving a 1 star review. The problem was: the buyer left a review saying my code was buggy. The delivered code on the platform is completely free of bugs, which Fiverr or anyone can verify, but after reaching out to the support Fiverr insists it's an opinion. Saying I'm not communicative enough, or that I don't have great design taste, that's an opinion. Saying I delivered a buggy code, while the code is literally there without 1 single bug, it's a factually false statement. This isn't a subjective opinion, it's a factual lie, also called defamation, and anyone trying to say otherwise has literally 0 idea of the difference between a fact and an opinion. They also insist this review doesn't violate their Terms of Service and Community Rules. I guess we're all allowed to lie on facts and call it an opinion. We all know how Fiverr favors buyer all the time, just be safe out there.
  9. Hopefully, establishing myself as a reputable seller here on Fiverr, and receiving commissions from the first-time buyer activity of some of the 300+ registrations I have amassed as an affiliate. I am hoping that this will be a viable "side hustle" for me that I can continue into retirement without getting too stressed out over work and income. If it becomes more substantial than that, cool...but since I just joined recently, I need to get buyers for my gigs 🙂
  10. Hello All, Can individuals or company have their fully functional websites if a person has a seller/buyer profile on Fiverr? Can contain social media links, contact forms, etc?
  11. I don't have all the answers, but a few things have worked well for me over the years. In my work, I use 8 Quick Responses to address questions from new buyers and follow up with existing clients. 1. The first impression This one isn't technically a quick reply. Rather, it's an auto reply that ensures that every first-time message you receive gets an adequate response. Make it a polite and informative one. If you were to message me on Fiverr right now, regardless of your time zone, you would be greeted with the following little snippet: Hi, {username}! Thank you for your interest in my services! I will be with you shortly. Please note that replies outside of business hours (Mon-Fri 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM GMT+3) may be subject to delay. All the best, Yavor I like to believe it establishes professionalism and manages the buyer's expectations regarding response times. 2. The out of office backup Maintaining responsiveness is important even during off hours, if you wish to stay in Fiverr's good graces, and auto replies don't count toward your response rate. So, you need a manual response - short and straightforward, like this one: Hi, {username}, You have reached me after hours. Looking forwad to talking to you soon! All the best,... The same principles of politeness and professionalism apply here as in your auto reply. This quick response counts towards your response rate and is perfect for when you're on the move, or when that inevitable 2 A.M message hits your inbox. 3. Confirm interest When a potential project aligns with your expertise, let the buyer know you're interested. Here's how I kickstart these conversations: Hi, {username}! Thank you for your patience. I would be very interested in working with you on this project. Remember, at this point your buyer would have already ran into your auto reply and possibly your out of office backup. Respecting their time and thanking them for their patience is not just good practice, it's good manners. 4. Follow up + Details Sometimes, that first message you receive will be... let's say, in need of further clarification. When a buyer reaches out to you, instead of directly placing an order, more often than not, it's because your standard offering does not fully align with their needs. And that's a good thing. It allows you to start a conversation, learn more about whether what your selling matches what the buyer is looking for, and ideally provide them with a custom offer. It's a dance. A back-and-forth vetting process. Here is one way to handle such situations: Hi, {username}! Thank you for your patience. I am interested in working with you and would love to provide you with a custom offer. However, I will need more details, such as a budget you are comfortable working with, your turnaround time expectations, as well as any additional information you deem relevant to your project. This will help ensure you receive a fair and objective quote, tailored to your specific needs. Guide your buyer through the information you need. Their replies will help you to determine whether to commit, ask for more information, or bail. 5. NOPE! Not every opportunity is is worth pursuing. When this happens, it's okay to let go. Politely decline offers that do not align with your availability. Present the buyer with an alternative to your services and move on. Here is a graceful way to decline... or: Hi, {username}! Thank you for your patience. Unfortunately, your request is not something I can commit to, based on the information you have provided. Here is what I suggest we do: Fiverr is an amazing marketplace full of diverse talent. Please feel free to shop around. I am sure you will find the perfect fit for your project in no time! 6. Confirm order Once the deal is sealed, it doesn't hurt to reassure your buyer. Thank you for placing your order, {username}! I have everything I need to begin working on your recording. I will be sure to keep you up to date on the order's progress and let you know as soon as the final material is ready. Talk soon,... 7. Confirm order After you complete the project, a final confirmation ensures a smooth handover. Your order is ready, {username}! Please review it at your leisure. I remain at your disposal, should you require any further assistance. 8. Feedback Feedback is gold! Express appreciation for your client's business and invite them to share their experience with your service. Thank you for accepting the delivery {username}! I wish you a lot of joy and success with it! It would be great if you let others and me know how satisfied you are with your order by sharing your experience in the review section. Feedback orients buyers looking for similar services and helps us freelancers improve our offerings to better serve you in the future. All the best,... Feel free to tweak the above templates to your own niche. An audio version of this post is available below.
  12. Preparing your Fiverr Profile Description (and, if you would like, an accompanying video) might seem intimidating at first, but there’s good news! Introducing yourself to potential customers is an important part of building a presence on Fiverr. Your profile description and Intro Video have a similar goal—to give potential Buyers a sense of who you are—not only what you can do. This is a significant opportunity to set yourself apart from the competition and project confidence in your ability to meet the Buyer’s needs. You won’t simply list your qualifications but discuss your success—why people love your work and how much you enjoy delivering a quality job to your Buyers. You may have many competitors on Fiverr with similar experiences, but only some will welcome Buyers and make sure they feel comfortable about spending their hard-earned money. Putting that extra effort into your profile can make a difference in converting a shopper into a Buyer. Likewise, creating a short video introduction can also have a major impact on your sales. While you may initially feel hesitant about looking into a camera and “trying to talk naturally,” here are a few pointers to keep in mind. 1. Don’t make your introduction too long or too complicated. Instead, keep your video under a minute and focus on a simple outline: A greeting, a short description, and an expression of why you love doing what you do. 2. Be upbeat. A smile and a good tone can go a long way to make Buyers feel welcome to your Gig and start connecting with you to be the expert that they will choose. Be conversational—in other words, speak as if you’re introducing yourself to a new friend. You’re not making a speech. Instead, you’re telling a story. 3. Be conversational—in other words, speak as if you’re introducing yourself to a new friend. You’re not making a speech. Instead, you’re telling a story. If you’re uncomfortable, practice telling a friend about your Fiverr account. While it may seem unusual, the key to appearing comfortable on camera is to remember that you’re talking to a person. So look at the camera—but don’t talk into it—always speak to the Buyer. Buyers love to see samples of previous work so you can include some samples of previous work in the background of the video as you speak. A similar format can be followed for the Gig’s Videos which can increase your conversion especially with business Buyers that will often want to get to know more about the Seller before placing an order. 13. Hi there! Here's another great story about Success score. I noticed that order cancellations have a strong negative impact on one of my Gigs. However, I have only 1 (one) order cancellation among over 20 orders. It was made by the client because of his misclick and wrong Gig selection. After that, we completed a project, and the buyer was completely happy with the result. Moreover, I was sure that this cancellation would not affect my statistics in any way (after all, the system message assured me this). But nope, CS said literally "Although it is not affecting your Order Completion Rate, it still does have an effect on your Success score". So if the client did the wrong order - it's the seller's fault. Moreover, this "fault" is so huge that it will affect your score even if you have dozens of other successful orders. The only good news - Fiverr is not my main income source, so I can pause my profile for a few months and see how it will go.
  14. HI Everyone last day i discuss my client to do next task on fiverr zoom meeting today i try to message fiverr client to start task but when i message client immediatly i see this message it always happens when i contact client after order complete am i wrong or fiverr any sugestions please, thank you
  15. @designcore69 Yes, some time buyer take past work demo.
  16. A buyer knock me. After hearing all I make 3 demo and he love that, says "Great work". Then I ask him to place the order to move foreword. Is this of my process OKAY?
  17. Sellers need to have the ability to block abusive buyers. Blocking an abusive buyer was our only form of protection and painless way to avoid unwanted experiences. Please reconsider your decision to remove this essential option.
  18. FIVERR just did NOT make my day two days ago. I posted my first "request" as re posted on Fiverr FB page with the same picture and the entire text of my "request" It was refused due to "braking community rules" with warning about (child related offences etc) and warnings my contacts may be passed on to authorities worldwide etc I was left speechless and VERY shocked. All I asked in my title was ti "Migrate a 2GB SketchUp19 file to Unreal Engine 5.2 (or+) And wanted to make sure the selling is willing to work with LGBTQ project . The warning was UTMOST disturbing especially I am a (proven in court and a case I won) as church child and teenager abuse survivor!) I have NOT received on word of reply from Fiverr not on FB page and customer service won't take a gmail address for communication even my company e-mail for the many past years was good enough for the rest of the world. Before this happened I contacted a seller in who's specialities seemed to stand out. After several exchanges mostly about money where I said I had a 500$ budget and that it was flexible she addressed me as "brother". I replied politely to tell here NOT to call me "brother" as I probably am rather the age of father. As the conversation went on she wanted me to go on Telgram which I did not like then she simply asked me to double my budget and as I wanted her to at least answer my questions like " Do you know SketchUP" etc she did not reply as simply told me that I am wasting her time and now her hourly fees have gone from 72 to 100$. So much for trying to further the day of someone who is located in Ukraine. I wonder what's next in for me on Fiverr? I just tried to re-post my request with a changed text leaving our my request for someone open minded to work with an LGTBQ gender neutral project. So this is my amended text: Hello thanks for your consideration. As a tiny group of friends, we came together believing creating a game that does NOT include shooting, killing, running and jumping. We want something that goes SLOW, enticing, beautiful and relaxing. Like a mini Las Vegas entertainment park without gambling. I am 3D builder, others give gamer’s perception, etc. We try to keep expenses to a minimum. I worked on this for over two years. We want someone who can go on working with us as we progress. A fantasy space built like a proper building, for avatars to meet and share time, spaces and do things together with like-minded folks. The model built in SketchUP19 needs to migrate to UE 5.2 or higher into the gaming UE gaming platform. The model comprises many groups to form one a square block of 18 floors of many sizes and many features under one roof. Much of it is airy, garden, pool, elevated walkways etc. I can’t work with someone who needs a later SKU version as I can not open it, I refuse to go on the newer version for many reasons. The file size it near 2GB As an autodidact artist and designs as I go in SKU, not in conventional ways. I could not plan floor per floor, etc. I built my building like someone paints a painting as I go. I am sure there are many minor mistakes in the SketchUp model. I don’t have all the extensions likely to find them. I have over 1000 renders made in Lumion10 and had no major display issues to date. Lots of glass leads to multiple transparencies for gamers to see and look from one area to another. It’s all about seeing and then joining the other avatar. There are several water bodies, lake and aquarium, pool, jacuzzi. One of the multiple space connector is a spiral staircase, repeated with slight amendments to each setting. There are other grand staircases to walk between spaces. Later some items like doors, elevator that may need animation. At a later stage we’d like it not only to be PC but also viewable in VR. I have test walked parts of it of it myself, in my VIVE helmet and it looked and felt very real. But at this time I am learning UE 5.2 and am not advanced to migrate the entire project. I know I have been told to move it by groups to facilitate the move. Most my decorative materials are custom designed by myself like carpets, art on the walls etc. I understand I may have to reapply the materials again in UE. To start I need to see at least one part moved to UE so I can appreciate your level of expertise. Thank you. You can make up your own mind of what "braking community rules" Will Fever again decide that the mention of a project being LGBTQ and Gender neutral isn't an acceptable way to present a project. Just let me know. I am very enticed to take this to the madia and maybe a court of law. Will an AI reader reject it again for totally insane and unrelated reasons? I will not spend anymore time trying to contacting Fiverr support as they can read my situation here and on their FB and get back to me.

  20. I have requested an "Extend Delivery Request" buyer didn't accept and the order showing late! It will affect my account?
  21. Hi. I was not using my account from past sometime. I just have activated my gigs, but I can not see buyer request option anywhere on PC as well as mobile app. I am not talking about seeing buyer requests, I am inquiring about the option itself where you click to see the requests further. Your help will be appreciated. looking forward.
  22. It's up to the Buyer if they want to permit you to display the order: Source: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010509437-Live-Portfolio
  23. If you're like me, you like to be up to date on the new features on Fiverr, then you have probably read through all the new features of the Success Score system. And maybe you are a little confused as well if you start poking into the details? For you who don't know what it is, here what the new Success Score is (without vague expressions and buzzwords): It's a whole new parameter that is being used to rank you on Fiverr. This success score gives you a score from 1-10 and, here is the kicker - it uses AI. The AI scrapes information from your orders, and makes a conclution if you did a good or a bad job on the order. Just so were are clear, buyer feedback is only a portion of the information gathered to make up this score, so if the buyer is overly happy but the AI thinks there was other information that made the order bad, you could risk getting a worse score. So what info does the AI use to establish a score? As far as we know it's the following: Revisions Extentions Partial refunds Feedback from buyer (public and private) If customer support needs to be called regarding the order Possibly just words and information used in the chat (I got hinted at this, but it's was not a clear answer. This means if the clients says "bad" keywords, it could affect the score. I really hope this is not the case) Again, I have gone back and forth with customer support, and they say that the AI would know if the difference between a "good dispute" and a "bad dispute". I personally do not trust an AI to make these judgements, as it can be quite complicated. I personally would like to have the score 100% determined only by buyer feedback (that is what matters, is it not?) One additional note I would like to add: It was really hard to actually find this information. All the information in the help center is very vague, and they never clearly mention it's run by AI. It's very wishy-washy (vague) and it's hard to really understand the clear cut facts of what is going on. The general questions I would like answered is: How does the success score system actually make a score for you? (yes, revisions, extentions, partial refunds or if you contact support, but we would like more details. Technical details.) And how does the AI really separate good disputes from bad disputes? This is the information I have managed to gather, please share more information you know in this thread (or if you have questions) (Fiverr staff, feel free to correct me if you feel like there is something you feel I said wrong about the new system. I am only going of the Help page and Customer Support)
