  1. 2. Sellers need to have the ability to block abusive buyers. Blocking an abusive buyer was our only form of protection and painless way to avoid unwanted experiences. Please reconsider your decision to remove this essential option.
  3. So I just posted a request for the first time, and I assumed I would be able to see this somewhere, and maybe get info on how many people had seen it, number of responses, etc. But I can't seem to find this anywhere? So where can I see information about requests I've put out? Is this not possible?
  4. One of the project of USA buyer (YouTube SEO)
  5. Last year, I took on a problematic client for a project that unfortunately did not go smoothly. After facing similar issues on a new project with the same client (after a back and forth for a good couple of weeks assuring me it wouldn't happen again if I accepted the project), I have reached out to customer support multiple times for assistance in resolving new ongoing problems. Despite numerous attempts, the situation remains unresolved, impacting my ability to take on new projects and causing undue stress. I sincerely hope that customer support can offer a more effective resolution to this situation, as it is impacting my work and causing frustration. I have requested cancellations from the buyer (upon support's advice), to which the buyer declined. And each time something goes wrong, the support's answer is basically 'Ah well. Try again and contact us if it doesn't work again'. I am tired of the back and forth, and being passed around reps who have the same non-helpful answers, and lack of action. If customer support is reading this, I ask you one more time. Take. This. Seriously. Cancel the job as I have requested (and I have seen you do daily to sellers, without any concern as to how you affect them and their rating doing that), stop contacting me telling me nothing and making it my issue knowing I can personally do nothing further, and stop making it so difficult for sellers to progress with work in difficult situations. For reader reference, I am a Pro seller, and level 2. So even at a Pro level, support is terrible!
  6. Communication is the most important factor in determining Buyer satisfaction and securing repeat business. As your business on Fiverr grows, you will develop your own communication style that works specifically for your brand and target audience. Learning to effectively communicate with Buyers is a skill that will improve over time until you have a list of phrases and methods that you can use with confidence in any situation. Tips for Communicating with Buyers Throughout an Order It’s important to utilize formal communication methods with Buyers. Rather than treating conversations like sending text messages back and forth, use a structured format in your sentences and paragraphs. Form complete thoughts in longer messages to convey all the necessary information in fewer messages. This can help prevent confusion and make it easier to review communication, which is especially helpful if Customer Support needs to intervene. There are three important points in an order lifecycle where you can increase your Buyer’s satisfaction by communicating effectively: before, during, and after. 1. Before an order begins Make sure you have all the information you need from a Buyer before starting any work on their behalf. This includes information about what they need, how much room they have in their budget, and any deadlines for completion. As soon as you know what needs to be done, share those details with your Buyer. This will help ensure that everyone has a clear understanding of the order goals and what is expected from both parties during its execution. 2. During an order Although it might be tempting to immediately get to work using the information provided in the requirements, your Buyer may have expectations that weren’t explicitly mentioned. It’s good to get into the habit of reviewing the requirements carefully and reaching out if anything is unclear or incomplete. This will help manage expectations on both ends, making it more likely for the Buyer to be satisfied with their delivery. Keep in regular contact with your Buyer throughout an order, so they know how things are progressing and what needs to happen next for them to receive their desired outcome at each stage. Make sure that you answer questions quickly and thoroughly so your client knows they can reach out if they need help with anything related to the project. This also means responding quickly to requests for changes and letting your client know if there are unexpected changes in scope or timeline. 3. After an order closes Many Sellers believe that the line of communication closes once the order does. However, staying in touch with Buyers will ensure you’ve delivered to their satisfaction and solidify you as their go-to Seller. Thank every Buyer for working with you and inform them of your additional, related services, so they know you can offer even more value. Lastly, remind them they will be getting an anonymous, confidential post-order survey and that their feedback is welcome but keep in mind to not guide them to a positive to not violate the Terms of Service. When you communicate the right information at the right time, you're providing immense value to your Buyer - and that's something they just might reward you for. Good communication will not only lead to Buyer satisfaction but can also generate repeat business for your blossoming freelancing career!
  7. If you're like me, you like to be up to date on the new features on Fiverr, then you have probably read through all the new features of the Success Score system. And maybe you are a little confused as well if you start poking into the details? For you who don't know what it is, here what the new Success Score is (without vague expressions and buzzwords): It's a whole new parameter that is being used to rank you on Fiverr. This success score gives you a score from 1-10 and, here is the kicker - it uses AI. The AI scrapes information from your orders, and makes a conclution if you did a good or a bad job on the order. Just so were are clear, buyer feedback is only a portion of the information gathered to make up this score, so if the buyer is overly happy but the AI thinks there was other information that made the order bad, you could risk getting a worse score. So what info does the AI use to establish a score? As far as we know it's the following: Revisions Extentions Partial refunds Feedback from buyer (public and private) If customer support needs to be called regarding the order Possibly just words and information used in the chat (I got hinted at this, but it's was not a clear answer. This means if the clients says "bad" keywords, it could affect the score. I really hope this is not the case) Again, I have gone back and forth with customer support, and they say that the AI would know if the difference between a "good dispute" and a "bad dispute". I personally do not trust an AI to make these judgements, as it can be quite complicated. I personally would like to have the score 100% determined only by buyer feedback (that is what matters, is it not?) One additional note I would like to add: It was really hard to actually find this information. All the information in the help center is very vague, and they never clearly mention it's run by AI. It's very wishy-washy (vague) and it's hard to really understand the clear cut facts of what is going on. The general questions I would like answered is: How does the success score system actually make a score for you? (yes, revisions, extentions, partial refunds or if you contact support, but we would like more details. Technical details.) And how does the AI really separate good disputes from bad disputes? This is the information I have managed to gather, please share more information you know in this thread (or if you have questions) (Fiverr staff, feel free to correct me if you feel like there is something you feel I said wrong about the new system. I am only going of the Help page and Customer Support)
  8. My gig includes filing an application for the buyer with the government. The filing requires paying a government fee. How do sellers receive government filing fee from the buyers without having to pay the 20% commission because the government filing fee is not a service fee? How do I collect the government filing fee from the buyer? Do I set up a separate payment requirement?
  9. Heads up → This is a long one Hi there, With the recent big changes in the seller / gig rating system, a new order reviews system came with it. While both seem like they are flawed on many levels, we (sellers) have a full look only at the new reviews system. As a Fiverr seller and freelance Product Designer, I decided to express my concerns regarding the new reviews form (in the form of a UX audit) and provide improvement propositions by creating new designs. → Introduction Unfortunately, the logic and execution of the new reviews look like the effect of a 10-minute brainstorming session plus some heavy hours dedicated to creating a PR ideology around it. I see many wrong things with the new review form and want to address them all. I'll use a lot of YOU pronouns, which are directed to Fiverr executives and teams responsible for the discussed changes. So this post can be treated as an open letter to those who are in charge and have the influence on implementing the platform's functionalities. Not like I’m holding my breath for a response, but maybe this will reach a few relevant inboxes. I'm attaching also → PDF viersion ← with hi-res images. → 1 - Emojis This design decision causes problems on many levels... Behavioral Science Perspective A person's emotional state is a complex mixture of influences and codependencies. Many things affect our moods and feelings in the short and long term. Using the basic emoji faces expresses a specific momentary emotion / mood as a reaction to something. Given that I see a few issues: Asking people to rate something with an emoji is forcing them to fight against their momentary emotions and overall mood to provide 'fair' feedback - if I don’t feel excited 😐 then I have reservations against using the exited emoji 🤩 for the 'Exceptional' rate Emotions are whimsical, tricky and affect us all the time - not only on a conscious but also subconscious level - so emoji feedback is doomed to be skewed from the get-go Emoji rating also gives the impression that it doesn't have significance and that it won’t affect the freelancer much The reports about the insignificance issue problems are starting to trickle in: Source → → 2 - The Scale In what reality on a single-step scale, the next grade after 'Average' is 'Very good'? With the old rating form, the tooltips visible when hovering over the rating stars were also not balanced (4 stars meant 'Good' and 5 'Excellent') but the stars were much more straightforward so it didn't matter that much. But here the labels are deceptive. In user experience / interface language, the word for this kind of diversion is 'dark pattern'. Few points on why hacking the scale is disruptive, not constructive: 5 ⭐ meaning 'Very good' / 'Great' is universal for the customer experience online 'Exceptional' on the other hand has bigger significance and feels more like 5+ because it stands for special / extra / unique / rare On occasion, we encounter the 'Excellent' label being used for 5 stars, but it has less weight than the 'Exceptional' as well Buyers have been exposed to 'classic' 5-star ratings too long and often, to anchor an exception in their minds for your modified system and create Fiverr-specific new habit The ‘Exceptional’ scenario should be an additional distinction because people will just not get used to considering the 5th star / maximum rate as something better than “Very good” There is just too big of a semantic gap between 'Average' and 'Very good' The cultural differences will limit the use of the 'Exceptional' rate as "the best" We didn't have to wait long for the cultural differences issue to cause problems: Source → → 3 - Perfect 5 / 5 Being "Not Trustworthy" In the new review system looks like your goal was to people not rating the highest when it should be "We want to create the review system that reflects the real buyer experience". In the responses on the forum, your staff keeps mentioning research to support the reasoning behind the changes. But this looks rather like a research bias scenario. I get the company's premise about highlighting exceptional work… Source → …but that can be done differently. More on that later. As for "relieving the pressure of aiming for a perfect 5-star rating": The pressure will always be there - in a competitive marketplace sellers need every advantage they can get, especially with such an extensive algorithm that Fiverr has You increased the pressure because buyers are now rating lower, due to the confusing new rating form You increased the pressure because we know now that our gig scores are dependent on how our competition is doing If my performance as a seller is consistently great but not continually improving, then my score can go down because others' can go up You increased the pressure by causing confusion due to the way you rolled out and are handling the new levels / rating (pre)launch The approach "4⭐ is the new 5⭐" is misleading users (in the rating form) and buyers in general (in the published reviews) because you changed the rules of the game while the past reviews and new ones are in one pot The sudden drop in ratings looks like a drop in the seller's work quality → 4 - Optional Questions The way the supplementary questions (dependent on the selected rate) and their answers are displayed is misleading: The answers look and sound the same but their selection has different effects depending on the selected rate option There are no visual distinctions whether the question asks about negatives or positives There is also no indicator that the question is optional The way this is implemented will cause scenarios like this: The user reads the first optional question and automatically assumes that the others have a bit different answers, but concern the same instance - positives for example The user is under the impression that is selecting answers in all situations for positive metrics, while they really concerned the negative ones The same can happen if the user won't read the supplementary questions at all and will select all the answers as positives. There are already reports about this: Source → → 5 - Real-life Consideration All the above issues are enhanced when the buyer is in a rush, which is a common scenario. Who isn't busy today? Clicking fast through the "unimportant" questionnaire or pop-ups to be over with them while not paying much attention - who among us hasn't done this? The earlier shared comment about emojis rating insignificance also mentions quickly clicking through aspect: Source → → Solutions A better design approach is actually in the new levels' landing page: RATING SCALE A simple scale with colors looks balanced and intuitive: QUESTIONS And now the tricky part with supplementary questions. Wording When considered negative, the answers should imply that with their wording: Visual Indicator The selected state should show visually if the response has a positive or negative connotation: This is way more intuitive and straightforward. SCORE PREVIEW Before sending the rating, there should be a noticeable score preview that with clarity shows what will be published: BONUS ROUND - "making exceptional work stand out" The "exceptional" aspect of order delivery can be determined in a non-direct way. Spontaneous Reactions The Amount Approach When all 3 main questions are rated to the highest, then the number of selected positive (optional) question responses could additionally affect the score. So let’s say 50% of selected responses for a single question could add 0.1 ⭐ to the score. The threshold size and star fraction value would need a careful assessment. The Meaning Approach Another approach could take into account the occurrence of specific response selection. The "Went above and beyond" itself indicates exceptional work. In the above scenarios, the 'exceptional' rate distinction would be spontaneous (yet measurable) and the lack of it won't interfere with the 5-star rating standard / habits / previous system scores. Labeling With either approach, there will be 5+ ⭐ rating possibility and there could be a label / badge indicating this: If the overall rating of the gig would be 5+⭐, then the 'Exceptional' badge could be included with the gig main stars score (in all the applicable places). → Wrapping up The devil is in the details and I feel like we need exorcisms here. I hope that the above concerns won't fall on deaf ears. A guy can dream. Signed Concerned Seller CC: @Kesha @Lyndsey_Fiverr @ran_success ____________________________________________________ FAQ section for community Why didn't you mention private reviews? - This is a separate can of worms. Why didn't you mention the "Value for money" rating question / issue? - This topic deserves a separate thread considered not only as a question in the rating form but also as a gig score metric. All gig metrics should have their own respective threads because these subjects are just too big to discuss them all at once. ____________________________________________________
  10. Buyers, of course, want to work with Sellers that produce quality work, but they also want to collaborate with people they connect to. Sharing your unique story and communicating why you are the best person for the job helps build trust and credibility in your brand - which leads to more sales opportunities! Plus, it can help you find Buyers that align with your target audience, making every project a truly enjoyable experience. The details you include in your portfolio, Gigs, and profile are the perfect place to start building a great rapport with Buyers. Communicating Your Unique Value Through Gigs Fiverr Gigs are designed to give you multiple opportunities to communicate your value. Try to put yourself in a Buyer’s shoes to understand their journey to finding the right Seller. What will they see first, second, and third? Understanding the steps a Buyer takes will allow you to showcase the right details at the right time. Here is an example of a Fiverr Buyer journey and how you can put your best face forward at each step: Step 1: Search for a Gig Buyers are likely to first notice your Gig image once they enter a query into the search bar. Of course, the Gig title is important, but humans are visual creatures! The right image will immediately capture a Buyer’s attention and compel them to click on your Gig. It’s a good idea to include a high-resolution photo of yourself, smiling, and making eye contact with the camera. Use a bright, solid-color background, so your image doesn’t blend in with the webpage, and use an image editor to place keywords and Gig highlights directly on the image, to make your offering really stand out. For more tips for an image that will stand out, check out our article on Changes I Made to My Gig Images. Step 2: Visit a Gig page and Seller profile While creating your gig images keep in mind that buyers will often browse before reaching a final decision and in that process they will visit your seller profile to get to know you better, your qualification and to see other services that you offer. Following a similar style between your different gig images will create a branded look to your gigs and help build trust with buyers. Your Gig description and profile are where you will explain what qualifies you to deliver high-value work. This is incredibly important for high-budget projects as a Buyer’s decision comes with a larger risk - they want to feel completely reassured that their funds are in the best hands. In addition to ensuring the Gig details align with their expectations, they will analyze your experience, skill set, and various packages. Be sure to include in your Gig description and profile where you honed your skills, how much experience you have, and any notable past projects and clients. Besides giving you higher chances of working with these types of buyers with higher budget projects, this will also help build a professional representation of your business and set the right expectations with those buyers. Step 3: Contact a Seller Many Buyers - especially those with larger budgets - will want to have a conversation with you before they place an order. This gives them a chance to ask any specific questions about your qualifications and services, so they feel confident that they’ve found the best Seller to collaborate with. It also gives you the chance to be honest with a Buyer about any limitations you might have. Often, Buyers will appreciate the honesty, choose to move forward with you, and either work within your limits or find additional support. The text in your profile, Gig description, FAQ, and packages should be well-written and objective and highlight the information you want Buyers to focus on. Similarly, your portfolios and images should be an excellent representation of your capabilities. Remember to update all your information regularly to reflect new skills, a boost in experience and quality, and ongoing excitement for your business. Want to read more? 11. A buyer Send me a sample work to me, is it? can i provide sample work i also add the video of my work in my gig
  12. Hi there @developerlikhon We understand this may be disappointing for you, but unfortunately, there is nothing we can do. I did check your ticket and it is pending which means that you would have to provide the necessary information before we can help you further. Please try to remember all the possible answers to the questions and send them to our Customer Support Team. Thank you.
  13. Hello, I just want to say that Fiverr straight up has absolutely the worst customer support. You guys have no idea how important it is for others that wants to start their own business using the platform and in my case I keep on getting rejected on the gig I created which is to offer photography service. Now I'm no longer able post any gigs and Fiverr wont even give me any reasons why I'm prevented from posting any gigs. I'm being told that I can only be a buyer and not a seller anymore as I find this message to be rude such as from a Fiverr staff member that I will not name to follow the policy. I really do wish to speak verbally to someone on the support team but it looks like nobody is willing to step up to actually talk and dig down to the details of this problem and how it all began or even getting my seller profile to work. Fiverr, please step up on your customer support. A new user like me should not experience something like this. Thanks,
  14. How do you recommend following a job that is going to have a lot of feedback? I mean, I am going to show the buyer the product in several instances of its progress... through the same fiverr chat? Thanks for the quick response!
  15. after everything going well with the buyer, if a buyer marks my order as complete, gives me a nice 5 star review and gives a positive hidden review, will my success score increase by 1 or no if there is only one buyer. Or success score only increases by 1 when multiple buyers give a nice review?
  16. So i was working with fiverr select buyer, he told me he wanted to get X out of this order,i gave him X and pretty quick actully, now after 5 days(after extending the delivery time) he wants extras with the X he got , some stuff that he never mentioned before starting the order,so after i said no, he asked to cancel the order,so i refused , minutes later i get this : order was canceled by customer support? what the hell? i worked hard to get the order done? and now my money gets stolen????
  17. Hi @vicarious1! The answer to your question is here in this post: Basically... You can't see your requests until someone (an interested seller) responds to your request. Once you post your request, Fiverr's matching system will match you with different sellers. If they are interested, they will contact you or send you an offer. If they aren't interested, you may never see your request again. You can only access your request if an interested seller contacts you (and you can access it from the message the seller sends). Unfortunately, this isn't possible with how Fiverr has its Brief & Match system set up - which is for you to enter information and Fiverr's system to do the matching. I choose not to work with this system because I like to vet my sellers on my own, which seems to be what you are doing. I usually just save my briefs to a Word doc template that I can share with any seller that needs to see my project details. You do need to be careful to customize your message to each seller (if you send the same exact message to multiple sellers, your account may be flagged as spam). Having two accounts is against Fiverr's ToS, even if done by mistake, but hopefully Fiverr support can help you delete the second one that you accidentally created. You can contact Fiverr support at support@fiverr.com to submit a help desk ticket on this issue or follow the link here: https://www.fiverr.com/support_tickets/account-and-security/account-verification-and-security/other

  19. Preparing your Fiverr Profile Description (and, if you would like, an accompanying video) might seem intimidating at first, but there’s good news! Introducing yourself to potential customers is an important part of building a presence on Fiverr. Your profile description and Intro Video have a similar goal—to give potential Buyers a sense of who you are—not only what you can do. This is a significant opportunity to set yourself apart from the competition and project confidence in your ability to meet the Buyer’s needs. You won’t simply list your qualifications but discuss your success—why people love your work and how much you enjoy delivering a quality job to your Buyers. You may have many competitors on Fiverr with similar experiences, but only some will welcome Buyers and make sure they feel comfortable about spending their hard-earned money. Putting that extra effort into your profile can make a difference in converting a shopper into a Buyer. Likewise, creating a short video introduction can also have a major impact on your sales. While you may initially feel hesitant about looking into a camera and “trying to talk naturally,” here are a few pointers to keep in mind. 1. Don’t make your introduction too long or too complicated. Instead, keep your video under a minute and focus on a simple outline: A greeting, a short description, and an expression of why you love doing what you do. 2. Be upbeat. A smile and a good tone can go a long way to make Buyers feel welcome to your Gig and start connecting with you to be the expert that they will choose. Be conversational—in other words, speak as if you’re introducing yourself to a new friend. You’re not making a speech. Instead, you’re telling a story. 3. Be conversational—in other words, speak as if you’re introducing yourself to a new friend. You’re not making a speech. Instead, you’re telling a story. If you’re uncomfortable, practice telling a friend about your Fiverr account. While it may seem unusual, the key to appearing comfortable on camera is to remember that you’re talking to a person. So look at the camera—but don’t talk into it—always speak to the Buyer. Buyers love to see samples of previous work so you can include some samples of previous work in the background of the video as you speak. A similar format can be followed for the Gig’s Videos which can increase your conversion especially with business Buyers that will often want to get to know more about the Seller before placing an order. 21. Hi. I was not using my account from past sometime. I just have activated my gigs, but I can not see buyer request option anywhere on PC as well as mobile app. I am not talking about seeing buyer requests, I am inquiring about the option itself where you click to see the requests further. Your help will be appreciated. looking forward.
  22. I am relatively new to Fiverr and my first potential buyer has contacted me. With all the scamming and fake AI comments floating around, I am concerned whether this buyer is legitimate or not. Is there a way to learn whether this buyer has purchased services on Fiverr before and if so, is this buyer honest? I currently have no reason to doubt this buyer buy I am certain I could be easily scammed. Any thoughts? Thanks, Mark
  23. As I'm sure some of you have noticed, buyers seem to be fewer than they once were (yes, I am aware that there are plenty of sellers who have plenty of orders). Now, according to Fiverr's own investor reports, they lost over 200,000 active buyers between '22 - '23. I'm linking to the G&M because it helpfully has an analysis of why that's bad. We can point to the bogeyman of AI, increased cost of living, all that stuff. Or we could look at what buyers are actually telling us. This buyer signed up this month (er.. March). I declined his job 3 weeks ago because I don't offer proofreading. I didn't think anything of it. Pretty standard stuff. Most people say something like "oh ok thanks" and go off to find someone who offers the right service. However, they keep coming back complaining. Today, I got this: I'm not sure what the first sentence is referring to, and the rest just makes me want to hit the block button and - annoyingly - continue with my SPP membership just to keep RTO on to avoid an order that I declined 3 weeks ago. But that doesn't make this guy a bad buyer. He's new to Fiverr and doesn't understand how it works. He also doesn't understand the undercurrent of Fiverr's new review system. I don't know what he's been saying to the other sellers, but if it's anything like what he said to me, I don't want him anywhere near my feedback. This buyer - IDK if you'd call him "active" in financial terms - is probably going to leave the platform after 7 sellers have basically declined to work with him. Are Fiverr's own review systems harming its bottom line by causing sellers to reject customers who could damage their profile? Is this causing otherwise "good" new buyers to leave? Add this to things like: 1. Deceptive AI policies and a ton of sellers using AI to sell AI without disclosure 2. A large marketplace of Pros that is not vetted as well as it used to be 2a) Leading to gigs worth $5 - $25 being sold for $100s 3) "New Buyers" being weighted more heavily in algorithms (bad reviews and good) 4) Eerily similar responses (GPT) from a large number of sellers using AI to communicate (as recommended by Fiverr) Fiverr's claims the the decreased number of buyers is a result of its marketing strategy, which is now targeting more upmarket people. That makes sense to me. But is Fiverr - or rather it's sellers - able to provide these upmarket visitors with the service they want? Or, are they getting annoyed after endless rejections from sellers who don't want to take on new buyers for a combination of reasons? Let's say this guy gives up and just orders from a random person without asking (they will only reject me anyway) who does the work with AI for $200 and discovers it's AI after the fact. You think they're gonna come back? Don't forget, some buyers are finding their profile disabled after they message a few sellers about their offer. They're invited to do this by Fiverr, but Fiverr's automation systems register this as spam and, well, it happens. Meanwhile, the QR code gang know this little restriction and just dance around it effortlessly. Let's also not forget that all accounts now start as buyer accounts and seller accounts need to be approved. I've seen far too many CS messages effectively saying "don't worry, you can still buy!" to people who have no interest in buying. They are upset and angry because they spent 3 hours filling out their profile and get dismissed with a curt message that tells them nothing about why they've been explained, and CS doesn't explain either. It was 200,000 buyers lost last year. This year, with the new review system in place and sellers increasingly anxious about their confusing scores, I think it could be worse. Fiverr's own policies are creating an atmosphere of fear and mistrust, rather than facilitating an open marketplace where people get on with work.
  24. hello everybody, I just had a shocking experience with Fiverr's Customer Support handling a cancellation request. I'm currently the second best rated PRO pianist in Fiverr, Top Seller, I'm working hard to keep dignified fares and high quality deliveries trying to stay away from this shameful war on prices going on here (completely neglected by Fiverr). My prices are the double or more of all the other top pianists and I still get gigs, 333, just 5 stars reviews. 'Till last Friday. Some days ago a client sent me a misleading reference link and unclear requirements. To make sure we were on the same page I mentioned I would have enhance the piano of his house track as we did other times. First delivery, he didn't mean a piano, he already has piano (of such quality that I thought it was the demo to be enhanced) In the ref. track there are just piano and low backing pads. Out of my kindness I sent the pads too. He doesn't want the pads. After messages and waste of time it turned out he wanted a lead synth as in some parts of another reference which he did included in the requirements as a second link but never mentioned in the conversations. Neither he mentioned the words synth or lead. I try to explain to him that his current piano will conflict with another leading sound and that he would need to fix something first, with a long, not due, explanation of the issues of his current, amateur arrangement. He insists and I deliver the synths, 5 versions, for him to edit and use where he wants as I don't see they will fit. He's not capable to mount them right in his project session or edit them, so he wants me to just send my proposal for it and add pauses in between the phrases. I do that too. He doesn't like the synth, of course, there's no place for that synth in his arrangement. Again I try to explain why and what we should do first but he wouldn't listen not realising that in the reference where the synth shows up there no leading piano. By the way he never apologised or offer extra payments for the extra deliveries even if I mentioned to him that his communication wasn't right and that I was doing not due, extra work. I start loosing my patience and tell him that is better if we stop collaborating and that, if he doesn't trust me a bit after 5 orders together, is better if we go separate ways. He gets all upset and contacts the customer support. Inexplicably he doesn't reject the delivery so the order is marked as completed. I would have negotiate a partial refund, ( as we had to do another time...! ) even if it would have been deeply unfair because all the troubles came from his lack of communication. But the order is complete so he gives me a 1 star review and I do the same. This is already upsetting enough but the incredible, worst part, is that after two days, without having being contacted by anybody I just receive a notification that the order has been cancelled by CS, the earned money sent back to the client while the bad review is still visible!!! So after working like 4 or 5 time what was due, I got the worst than one can get and nobody asked for my point of view. Right now I'm writing and insisting with the customer support like crazy because this cannot be acceptable by any means. After the usual generic answers and corporate lingo they actually started mentioning things about the order, the first answers made obvious they had no idea what happened and what I delivered andas I write this they still cannot tell me what exactly I didn't deliver only referring to my first delivery, which was a piano and not the lead synth the client had in his mind but never requested. In a message (attached) they even said "we can cancel any order if the buyer feels like they did not receive what they paid for". That blowed my mind. It can't be true!!! so the client has no responsibility at all about what he communicates and how he behaves?! I'm so disgusted and shocked by how I've been treated by the client, but most importantly, by Fiverr. They make you feel you are just their milking cows, we're not part of the family or a valuable asset to be valued and protected, they just want the buyers to keep buying and if they're upset they'll just refund them with our money! This guy even had another similar issue with another seller before, his rating is 4.3, which is very low for a client, I only had 5 stars at that point, but they preferred to take completely his side without even checking on me! Isn't all this incredible and scary!? What kind of working environment are they building here?? I'm considering leaving the page, I already work in much better workplaces for music and they just take 10% commission, not this usury 20%. Hope somebody will find this useful, bests wishes and good luck to everybody. Leo
