  1. You'd need to attach after a buyer orders, so in the order page you press "deliver" and attach the files you want to deliver (such as your .zip file). If it's too big Fiverr help says you can use dropbox but you also need to show proof of work (you need to be careful of getting flagged eg. for partial deliveries if you don't properly show proof of work or deliver fully). So if possible attach it on Fiverr deliver. So it wouldn't be automatic. You'd have to manually deliver each order uploading the .zip file each time. But Fiverr would want the software customized I think.
  2. ''Can I use dropbox to send my 2GB file to my clients in fiverr inbox'' I have already delivered my order. Now clients request for some revisions and want me to send the file again in fiverr inbox. But I can't send my 2GB file, it's stuck in the send option. What should I do now??
  3. Hello to anyone listening! I just signed up and was eager to get going with Fiverr. I read a lot of people’s success stories over the web and was excited to join this community of freelancers. After setting up my first gig, I received my first message. I was super excited and couldn’t wait to see what the offer entailed. Once reading the message and carefully looking, I noticed the buyer was spelling ■■■■■ like this “$kype”. When I typed back that I don’t have ■■■■■ the terms and conditions policy reminder popped up. That was my first red flag since I’m new. The next following day (which is today November 25, 2019) I received another message. At this point, my excitement is only 50/50. I want to be optimistic but I’m naturally a realist and know-how corrupt this world can be. I opened the message and there was a link to further describe the job they wanted complete. The link was to dropbox with a pdf. The profile of the person was from the USA but the pdf was from a person in China. They wanted me to build websites offering $1500 a week. I reported the sender as spam. I’m just curious to see if there are real clients for newcomers on Fiverr or will I constantly be spammed by all the scams? Any help on this situation would be greatly appreciated! I tried to comment on Fiverr’s latest post on Instagram but they limit comments and I guess the reason is for this exact experience I’m having. Thank you, Patrick Perez

According to this help page about delivering an order: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010639437-Delivering-an-order Fiverr says: So I assume it's still okay to use dropbox or similar for the reason above (eg. if there's technical limitations uploading the files to Fiverr)
  6. I am a web developer. I have to share links and e-mails on Fiverr chat. Sometimes I download tutorials from YouTube and upload them on Dropbox then I share the Dropbox video link. Have any issues with this? Carefully read my question and provide me with a good consultation. Thanks.
  7. Couldn't Fiverr specify in one of the rule pages if each delivery of revisions has to include all files - even when only some needed to be changed since the last delivery? I do that but it also seems a bit unnecessary really (time/bandwidth-wise, when Fiverr has already received the unchanged files once). If all need to be included each time (and Fiverr prefers us to use Fiverr than dropbox - where giving the same link to an unchanged file could be much faster - or possibly copying one if it knows the contents are unchanged) couldn't Fiverr add a way to re-add an already sent file (that was used in one delivery) to put it in the revised delivery if necessary (if no changes were needed on that file)? That would save lots of bandwidth and time for big files (since it would just be a reference link - on Fiverr's side - to the originally sent file).
  8. No. If, for any reason, sending files through Fiverr doesn't work, you can use DropBox or a similar service (just make sure there's no personal contact information).
  9. Just checked (I don't use dropbox, I find it very slow), and apparently you can't see the e-mail when shared like that - you can, however, see the username if you're logged in, which may or may not be what you want. With a direct link transfer, there's no account in the first place, so it's 100% anonymous. Another factor is that using dropbox you need to keep the file in your dropbox folder, if you delete it (you need space), the person who gets the link can no longer download it. With a direct transfer, you don't need to worry about that.
  10. No buyers can see my email address (or name) if they go to a (public) dropbox link I give. How could you see my email address if I don't show it on dropbox and I don't give links requiring an email address/login when I create the public dropbox links?
  11. I've sent links with dropbox and they don't get sent via email (maybe there's an option there for it but if there is I haven't used that option). It's just a link to the file where you can paste the link in the Fiverr post (ie. a public link but only the person you give it to in the Fiverr post will have it, without the need for their email or login). Though one thing that might be a problem is people with the link could add a comment there in theory (could that be offsite-contact if they did? But if the seller doesn't I assume it's okay). Fiverr themselves say: https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/360010639437-Delivering-an-order?segment=seller So in their help they mention you can use dropbox if there are technical limitations with using the upload option on Fiverr. One limitation with Fiverr is it doesn't allow continuing where you left off if there was a connection failure whereas dropbox software can (depending how it's done I think).
  12. We need to share our email for site access, and it's necessary for work, so there are no issues with sharing emails. For tutorials, you can upload videos directly in the order box; I believe it's a better option than using a Dropbox link.
  13. Hello, I am trying to get started in Fiverr. I am setting up my account. I am setting up my gig (photography) when I get to the part that asks for up to five key words. I enter what I think are five words to search for, and I get the error message "Tag list must contain at least 1 tag". How do I know what the valid key words are? I tried a forum search, and the Fiverr support section, but found no information. I tried filling out a support for, but it won't let me send it because the "gig" section is blank. However, the dropbox is also blank, and it won't let me fill in anything manually!!! This part is especially frustrating... Can someone please point me in the right direction? I'm obviously missing something very simple, since thousands have been able to set up accounts.
  14. You can read this link: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010639437-Delivering-an-order Though it's still safest to attach a version of it (I think it forces you to now). eg. Fiverr says you can use dropbox, so if the full res version was uploaded with dropbox and the link put in the delivery box you could put a low res version attached (which would also show proof of work to Fiverr).
  15. The client can attach it. I don't think Fiverr minds them using a dropbox link (though you could check with CS if you wanted to know for sure). In this page: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010639437-Delivering-an-order It says: while that's for delivering orders I'm quite sure they don't mind buyers using dropbox too. Though make sure you don't give any contact details out and make sure any link doesn't need you to log in, ie. make sure it's a public link only (Fiverr doesn't allow off site contact). Also be careful of viruses too (check any files and file extensions).
  16. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/f5q266kl9b3rwg3752xlx/h?rlkey=dijfer8fjxy7ejwj81li4zf8k&dl=0 This link contains all the audio files and the pdf files. Customer has asked me to transcribe 2 live performances. 1)https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=Ci--MbNEHoY is this one. Which is named "Soad Madonna" in the folder. Customer asked for the transcription of the guitar parts and I did as they asked. 2)https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=4_OfngfMmIQ is the intro to this live performance. Which is named "Chop Suey Intro" in the folder. Again, I transcribed the parts that the customer had asked. I've sent them the files in "Guitar Pro" file format. Which is a program for viewing and editing guitar tabs and notation. After that the customer had reviewed the order and given their ratings. As soon as I saw the customer had rated me, I rated them too. There was no point in the conversation that I or them asked about a rating or a positive rating. The customer was a repeat customer of mine and they have been ordering the gig regularly. I have not asked any of my customers to leave me a rating. I have not bought or sold review scores anywhere or in any job. All I did was to do what the customers asked me to do. I still don't understand how the review team sees this one as a breach. All I did was to do what was written in the job description. Fiverr is the source of my only income and I did not or won't commit any act against the terms of service. I have been accused of fraud, but they won't show me any evidence. The support team claims they've reviewed the case multiple times. But I'm not even sure they have reviewed it even once. I have never asked the customer for a rating yet I'm being punished for it.
  17. Be care when you received any zipped file/ compressed file. Today, I received this message from a buyer that come from a country that starts with “P”. Haha There are some red flags, from the way he writes. Why he asked me to open in PC ? Why I can’t preview PDF in my mobile? Then when I opened the Dropbox , and yep, there is a SCR file ( the malware ) disguise as PDF. I was hacked before by the same method , accidentally download the SCR file and the next day, all my account balance disappeared the next day. ( you can see my past forum, if you are interested , wink). And from then, I was particular cautious about compressed file. As fiverr is not able to scan them.
  18. You could check with CS at the helpdesk. But their help page that I linked above said "If the file you'd like to deliver is too big, or you experience technical limitations, you may use alternative methods to send a file (e.g., a dropbox link). ". So they mentioned dropbox but I'm sure they'd allow google drive too (maybe the other one too). As long as you don't send anything with the email option and don't use any that require an emailed link, since Fiverr would likely disallow that because of off-site contact. But checking with CS should allow you to get the official answer.
  19. I have already checked the Dropbox link and I saw in the information that there is no email is showing, only my name is appearing and date of file created - no email. But I am really confused because when I search it on google, I saw that I can use three platform to share files - Dropbox, WeTransfer & Google drive but I am not really sure which one is the best that fiverr is recommending.
  20. I'm going to check with them about the email address thing (from reading one place I'm not sure if they can see it on shared folders - maybe that's different from shared files - or it may be only relevant if you share the folder to certain email address - which I wouldn't). For the space thing - you can have it so it only stores it on their servers rather than also on your disc though you're right that there's a limit to the amount of storage they allow or if you ever stopped subscribing they may lose access. Though old Fiverr deliveries can also prevent people from re-downloading the files I think. If Fiverr could make their file uploads work better and have all the main functionality of things like dropbox then that would be a lot better. People could re-give files (if only one out of a number of files had changed in a revision) or their buyers could give access to them to their buyers (eg. if they were outsourcing and needed to give source files) and importantly, continuing where any uploads left off. Then people shouldn't ever need to use dropbox or similar for Fiverr orders.
  21. They're not sent via e-mail, but they are a link to your dropbox. Which is connected to your e-mail. Fiverr may allow it, but it's very easy to get your e-mail if I have access to your dropbox, that was my point. Since Fiverr really dislikes that, I would think they would much prefer direct transfer services, where no accounts are involved.
  22. Dropbox is connected to your e-mail, and Fiverr doesn't want your e-mail to be public. Wetransfer, via the link option, isn't, so it's a safer choice anyway. If you insist on using dropbox, ask support. I just gave you an alternative that works better and should be no issue.
  23. I want to use Dropbox. But If I share the dropbox link in fiverr inbox, will it be any problem?
  24. Has this ever happened to you? So, I'm a translator here on Fiverr. Recently, this one buyer began working with me, sending me 13 .docx files over the course of a week or so. They were simple translation projects for his youtube channel that he's trying to get off the ground. Strange things have happened twice now. The first time was when he sent the 4th file. It wasn't a docx but a .pages. Fiverr scanner didn't detect anything unusual. VirusTotal even said it was fine. But it was weird that he would send that .pages when .docx would be perfectly fine. I told him to send a docx instead, which he did. Now, we're on file 13th, which he sent two files with the same name for some reason. The first is about 5 kB, and the second one is about 3 kB. The first one was fine. But the second one got that "This message contains attachments that cannot be scanned...." Now why would he send two files? What's even weirder is that after I refreshed the page, the message was gone, as if that was an error on Fiverr's part? Not long before that, another freelancer based in Bangladesh with good reviews (5 stars, level 2) contacted me with the UNICEF scam. I knew immediately because I dealt with it before. That made me think that either he was hacked or we just can't trust anyone these days, and that client was just biding their time to win my trust. But why would a scammer spent a hundred bucks to fatten someone up for the slaughter when they can't even be sure if they will fall into the trap? Nothing makes any sense. After that, another client based in Thailand sent me two 50 and 80 kB docx files. Same message appeared. He said they were shared from his dropbox, and it was probably because he sent them from his phone. He tried a few more times. In the last few times, he sent PDF instead. All of them had that same warning message. But after a while, the message disappeared lol. Even the message for the last batch of docx files disappeared. I downloaded them, scanned with my antivirus and VirusTotal, and lo and behold, they were fine! What is this world coming to? Is there a bug in the Fiverr system or something?
