  1. I was in a perfectly lit environment with a decent quality shot of my photo id? Even then they kept failing my verification attempts due to "bad quality photos", like bro do you want me to whip out a 5000$ DSLR and a studio to take my photos in.
  2. Ranking your Fiverr gig involves optimizing several key factors: Keywords: Use relevant keywords in your gig title, description, and tags that potential buyers are likely to search for. Gig Title: Make sure your gig title is clear, descriptive, and includes important keywords. Gig Description: Write a detailed and engaging description of your services, highlighting your expertise and what sets you apart. Tags: Choose relevant tags that accurately describe your services and match them to potential search queries. Gig Media: Use high-quality images and videos to showcase your work and attract potential buyers. Delivery Time and Pricing: Offer competitive pricing and realistic delivery times to attract more buyers. Reviews and Ratings: Provide excellent service to earn positive reviews and ratings, which can boost your gig’s visibility. Promotion: Promote your gig on social media and other platforms to drive traffic and increase visibility. By optimizing these factors, you can improve your gig’s ranking and attract more buyers on Fiverr.
  3. Making a good first impression as a seller on Fiverr is crucial for attracting clients and building a solid reputation. Here are some tips to help you make a positive impact: Create a Professional Profile: Your profile is your storefront. Use a clear, professional photo and write a concise, engaging bio that highlights your skills, experience, and what makes you unique. Offer Quality Services: Provide high-quality services that meet or exceed your clients' expectations. Deliver on time and go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. Optimize Gig Titles and Descriptions: Craft compelling gig titles and descriptions that clearly explain what you offer and the value you provide. Use relevant keywords to help your gigs appear in search results. Use High-Quality Images and Samples: Include high-quality images, videos, or samples that showcase your work and demonstrate your expertise. Visuals can help attract potential buyers and give them confidence in your abilities. Set Competitive Prices: Research similar services on Fiverr and set competitive prices based on your skills, experience, and market demand. Avoid pricing yourself too low, as it may suggest low quality, but also be mindful not to overprice your services. Communicate Clearly and Promptly: Respond to messages and inquiries from potential clients promptly and professionally. Clear communication builds trust and demonstrates your reliability. Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Offer excellent customer service throughout the entire process, from initial contact to delivery and beyond. Be attentive to your clients' needs, answer their questions, and address any concerns they may have. Ask for Reviews and Feedback: Encourage satisfied clients to leave positive reviews and feedback on your profile. Positive reviews can help build credibility and attract more clients in the future. Stay Professional and Polite: Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in all your interactions, even if faced with difficult clients or situations. A positive attitude can go a long way in building relationships and securing repeat business. Continuously Improve and Adapt: Stay updated on industry trends, learn new skills, and adapt your services to meet changing client needs. Continuous improvement demonstrates your commitment to excellence and can help you stand out from the competition. By following these tips and consistently delivering exceptional service, you can make a strong first impression as a seller on Fiverr and attract more clients to your gigs.
  4. Now sellers who rely on ChatGPT to communicate for them can also use the magic of artificial everything to do Zoom calls on Fiverr. I won't be naming the software here (do your own darn legwork!), but it is rather impressive. AI video has been capable for a while now of making it look like you're "always looking at the camera", which is very useful for when AI interview software is listening to difficult questions and feeding you answers. AI photography can work from, let's say 30 headshots, in your phone gallery to create a "you" (and of course make you look nice instead of the terrifyingly ugly mess you actually are). It can then turn that gorgeous headshot into a talking video, complete with hand movements, nods, and other slightly repetitive natural gestures! If not in real time, then soon. Oh, and it'll also clone your voice. What's that, the interview's in another language like say, English? No problem. You don't actually know anything about the job or what you do because AI has reduced your brain to the size of a raisin and all you know how to do is write prompts? No problem. Feed the AI with knowledge and sound smart. === That's just a few of the things this did. Is it any good? I have no idea, but even if it isn't that good now, it will be a lot better soon and close to perfect later on. What I will say is that the demo looked really impressive. The guy was gurning and thumbs-upsing for a TikTok video as the interview continued in the background. Anyway, I know quite a few people use Zoom calls to establish their humanity and realness and knowledge - but that advantage is rapidly disappearing. Side-note: this kind of technology is almost certainly going to start being used by scammers in the near future. Be careful, children, and remember Fiverr has no AI disclosure policies. Quick question for Fvierr Staff, on the off-chance that anyone reads this on the single day of the week that is the weekend in TLV and the West: What measures is Fiverr taking to prevent this kind of technology from being used in its on-platform Zoom calls? I ask, because it's very clear that many sellers and buyers are not as AI-aware as they could be, leaving them vulnerable - and many users already fall victim to less sophisticated scams. As a platform, you do have some duty of care here. In brighter news, it looks like regulations will soon mandate the watermarking of generative AI-created stuff, which should help actual detection rates increase a lot. Bad news for the people who are building entire businesses around their ability to "write" and "draw" and whatever else when their actual ability is that of a sprouting potato.
  5. Fiverr is taking 14 days time period to clear payments as a security measure, but in other hand they are offering quicker payments while taking a pro etc feature to get more fee. this is not fair. payment should be clear as soon as orders completed, and rest of security measures fiverr should maintain in delivery time. its more like fiverr taking its fees without providing a solution to sellers. both buyer and seller pay their feeses but for what ?
  6. It sounds like you've been scammed by a website other than Fiverr. Fiverr does not work with Revolut, nor do they offer a chat for support (only tickets) and they don't use a QR code to verify as far as I know. They certainly don't ask for your credit card info. This sounds like a clear-cut phishing scam designed to make you believe it is Fiverr, when in fact, it's not.
  7. As a copywriter and voice-over artist, I've learned about all sorts of odd topics over the years. For example, you could quiz me on the benefits of 3D-printed clear aligners, or the ins and outs of painting a wall, and I'd probably impress both the dentist and the painter. I might know more about herbs and vitamins than the hippie down at the local herbal shop, and I could likely diagnose and suggest treatments for gastrointestinal issues better than many doctors. If you happen to have a Siemens MRI machine in your garage that's gone a bit grumpy on you, I'll probably know how to repair it. And after creating and voicing hundreds of hours for cybersecurity companies, I’m probably more paranoid than anyone you know, unless you're friends with some Mr. Robot types. Most of this information is pretty useless outside my job, but while I was writing 2000 words about Invisalign for a website by heart and getting feedback that the company wanted to use it to "train our employees as well", I realized just how much random stuff I know far too much about. What are some of the strangest or most "pointless" topics you’ve become an "expert" in through your work? Disclaimer: I suffer from odontofobia and may shake uncontrollably if I smell latex gloves. All dental knowledge is purely theoretical. I'm not a licensed tech qualified to repair your Siemens MRI machine (and if you own one, may I also suggest speaking to your local clinical psychologist). My painting skills are on par with my toddler son (for confirmation, consult the wife). I certainly don't believe in herbal medicine, and I will not be your IT guy.
  8. I have been a seller on fiverr since august last year and fiverr being my only income I need the money pretty soon. Well why does fiverr take 14 DAYS to clear your revenues? On other sites it takes 3 days MAX. This is one thing fiverr needs to work on. Especially for those sellers out there like me that depend on that money as a prime income. Comment what you think about this below. I’m curious to see what others also have to say about this.
  9. Communication is the most important factor in determining Buyer satisfaction and securing repeat business. As your business on Fiverr grows, you will develop your own communication style that works specifically for your brand and target audience. Learning to effectively communicate with Buyers is a skill that will improve over time until you have a list of phrases and methods that you can use with confidence in any situation. Tips for Communicating with Buyers Throughout an Order It’s important to utilize formal communication methods with Buyers. Rather than treating conversations like sending text messages back and forth, use a structured format in your sentences and paragraphs. Form complete thoughts in longer messages to convey all the necessary information in fewer messages. This can help prevent confusion and make it easier to review communication, which is especially helpful if Customer Support needs to intervene. There are three important points in an order lifecycle where you can increase your Buyer’s satisfaction by communicating effectively: before, during, and after. 1. Before an order begins Make sure you have all the information you need from a Buyer before starting any work on their behalf. This includes information about what they need, how much room they have in their budget, and any deadlines for completion. As soon as you know what needs to be done, share those details with your Buyer. This will help ensure that everyone has a clear understanding of the order goals and what is expected from both parties during its execution. 2. During an order Although it might be tempting to immediately get to work using the information provided in the requirements, your Buyer may have expectations that weren’t explicitly mentioned. It’s good to get into the habit of reviewing the requirements carefully and reaching out if anything is unclear or incomplete. This will help manage expectations on both ends, making it more likely for the Buyer to be satisfied with their delivery. Keep in regular contact with your Buyer throughout an order, so they know how things are progressing and what needs to happen next for them to receive their desired outcome at each stage. Make sure that you answer questions quickly and thoroughly so your client knows they can reach out if they need help with anything related to the project. This also means responding quickly to requests for changes and letting your client know if there are unexpected changes in scope or timeline. 3. After an order closes Many Sellers believe that the line of communication closes once the order does. However, staying in touch with Buyers will ensure you’ve delivered to their satisfaction and solidify you as their go-to Seller. Thank every Buyer for working with you and inform them of your additional, related services, so they know you can offer even more value. Lastly, remind them they will be getting an anonymous, confidential post-order survey and that their feedback is welcome but keep in mind to not guide them to a positive to not violate the Terms of Service. When you communicate the right information at the right time, you're providing immense value to your Buyer - and that's something they just might reward you for. Good communication will not only lead to Buyer satisfaction but can also generate repeat business for your blossoming freelancing career!
  10. I have a question for Fiverr's tech-savvy AI experts who are super into-the-details of AI! Do you believe that overuse of AI may lead to a decline in humanity's mental capacity, much like social media algorithms and design have led to a Great Withering of attention spans (103 seconds, according to research)? I ask because AI is currently also being abused by companies. Never mind the layoffs of people in tech. This simply removes a human dimension into critical thought processes when implementing AI processes by a leadership focused on cutting costs and maximizing profits (sound familiar?). AI replaces them. We can see this in action at Fiverr, where profiles that want to start selling need to go through an approval process. However, it is quite clear that while the algorithmic automation is efficient, it is not discerning. A human can look at some copy-pasting profiles and see very clearly that there's an issue. But an AI will only check to see if things fall within acceptable, presumably preset parameters/items in its (dynamic?) database and case out people who e.g. use their own creative hand-drawn artwork that they made the foolish mistake of sharing to IG. A time measured in seconds and minutes later, they then get the after careful consideration email, or: Of course, that's just sloppy automation; it's not that difficult to wait for a set period of time before sending out the automated rejection so the human is tricked into thinking any consideration happened at all. It is this kind of sloppiness that makes me worry about Fiverr's use of AI to govern the marketplace and its ability to detect who is using AI responsibly and who is using it for copy-paste profits at the expense of the consumer. This technology will undoubtedly improve in time, but as it does, it may yield a similar issue to social media algorithms: people will no longer think for themselves. Experts in AI are already discussing the issue of how AI could affect people's critical thinking and problem-solving skills, since they will no longer be needed; hand it over to an AI. Don't speak a language but also don't want to be accused of using ChatGPT? Copy paste other people's relevant, but oddly out-of-sync comments, in an effort to join the conversation. It's problem-solving of a sort, but nobody, including that person if they fully understood this conversation - would agree that this was a good way to solve this particular problem. Yet AI believes that they are fit to sell on a marketplace in which communication matters. A platform that encourages heavy use of ChatGPT to communicate for those who can't. What is wrong with the old-fashioned way of learning a new language? Yes, it's difficult and hard, but it's also very rewarding. But if platforms like Fiverr are offering economic opportunity without having to do anything other than copy-paste, this is the result. AI here is amplifying the worst human trait: laziness and taking self-destructive short cuts. So, Fiverr, how does the tech-savvy leadership of Fiverr address this? Not in its webinars.... I'm pretty sure these aren't the kind of tech savvy questions the webinar is even about, which is why I'm not attending. But I'll ask here anyway, since someone tech savvy who might be attending might want to ask on my behalf. As a side-note, a retired doctor I once knew once bemoaned the fact that "the youth" had tragically lost touch with nature. When she was a child in London's shelled-out post-WWII streets, everyone could name the different birds, flowers, tree names and all that jazz. This was not a peculiar interest in flora and fauna, it was just normal. Today, most urban populations (outside of enthusiasts will stare at you blankly if asked to name a tree pointed out. I mention her, because my counter-argument was that this knowledge no longer needed to be shared since it was on the internet and (now, with AI) could be easily found. She gave me a withering stare and sighed as if I were the most ignorant person in the world. Quite understandable, really. I mention this little anecdote as humans are very much a part of the natural world. We have always used technology to help us - and destroy each other, often in the name of "resources". But in the past few decades, we have lost touch with nature - and we are now hurtling toward a future where nobody thinks anything, nor cares to learn anything, because an AI is doing it for us. Meanwhile, AI algorithms are clearly rewarding this kind of behavior - as getting approved to sell on Fiverr requires no skill or talent at all - just the ability to copy and paste. Extend this to the greater world, and it's a disaster in the making, unfolding now. Today's AI-led students are tomorrow's doctors and engineers, after all. If our problem-solving skills narrow to a focus of "will the AI approve this" (in any sphere of life) we are not going to a good place. Anyway, that's everything that ran through my mind when I read the post immediately before mine. I find it amazing that Fiverr's own expert AI team cannot see the huge issues that are looming and refuse to address a technologically competent commmunity's clear concerns about the company's use of AI, brushing them aside with a claim that this webinar is only for the "tech savvy", whatever that actually means. Whither transparency? Don't worry, I'm not expecting an answer. It's crystal clear that Fiverr corporate isn't interested in tackling difficult questions.
  11. Setting Gig prices on Fiverr is about balance. Buyers want to feel that they’re receiving value for their investment; Sellers want to feel that they’re being paid fairly for their work. Consider how Buyers look at your Gigs, and then consider the tools Fiverr has created to allow you to create a Gig that both sells and expands your earning opportunities. PACKAGES Most Fiverr Gigs allow for the creation of tiered “packages.” Essentially, these are variations on your basic Gig, increasing service levels and adjusting costs accordingly. For example, a writer might offer three packages offering documents of varying lengths—one for 500 words, another for 1000 words, and yet another for 2000 words, clear choices to fit the Buyer’s specific needs. Your packages might reflect other factors: a voice-over recording artist might offer something similar in the recorded length. One tier might offer a 30-second recording, another a 2-minute recording, and yet another recording an entire chapter of an audiobook. Pricing reflects both added value for the Buyer while respecting the value of the Seller’s service. EXTRAS Most Gigs also offer extras, allowing Buyers to customize your Gig to their needs by purchasing options to create precisely what they need. For example, one popular option is rush delivery in just one day. You may have set standard delivery for three days, but offering the option of paying a reasonable premium—and having that job delivered sooner is often appealing to entrepreneurs anxious to get a job done. Extras can represent all sorts of options, including additional research, added features, or supplementary rights. For example, artists offer a variety of rights allowing usage across specific media, and a visual artist might include extras offering editable source files. By offering added-cost extras, you can keep the cost of your basic packages low. As a result, Buyers will perceive your Gig as a good value but often spend more than the basic price. Extras offer an opportunity for the Buyer and potential for your income. RAISE YOUR PRICE! Finally, remember setting a price for your Gig, packages, and extras isn't a “set it and forget it” task. As you gain positive reviews, revisit your pricing periodically. Keep an eye on your competition, and don’t hesitate increasing your price as your experience and ratings grow. You’ve earned it! A good practice is to create a personal milestone to increase your package price by $5 once you reach 50 reviews and another $5 when you earn 100 reviews. Remember, your ratings and reputation on the site also signal to the Buyer that you’re a worthwhile investment. Raising your prices over time is vital to establish your value and legitimacy and to drive your growth. Some Buyers may be concerned that raising prices might slow sales, but perception is everything. Modest incremental increases (as opposed to suddenly doubling the price of a successful Gig) are in your best interest and will increase the perception and trust of potential Buyers. And remember, you can change pricing anytime—up or down—depending on market conditions. Want to read more? 12. After having had a very intense/busy last week, I expected today to be a lazy Sunday — one of seclusion and contemplation. But — oh, no! Life would be too easy (too boring even) if everything went your way, am I right? 😉 As soon as I wake up, I usually check my mobile phone for notifications (I have ALL Fiverr notifications enabled, btw). Sometimes, I also open the Fiverr App just in case there is a notification hiding inside the App (sometimes, push notifications can be unreliable 😉 ). But, today, I didn’t see anything in the App either. After making myself some breakfast, I opened Fiverr on my PC. I noticed the characteristic magenta/pink dot by the “Messages.” There were still no notifications on the Fiverr App, though. This struck me as strange. Anyway, when I checked the Fiverr notification on my PC, it was the dreaded “Verify your ID to continue on Fiverr” message. 😰 Yep, it appeared as a notification. So, please pay attention to those magenta/pink dots and the message that’s shown! 😉 Since there are hardly any posts (from people who have succeeded in their verification process) detailing the entire verification process, I thought I’d give a very detailed description of my experience. 😃 Okay, moving on… When you click on that notification, it takes you to a page where there is a QR code (which directs you to the ID verification link) as well as an option to get the ID verification link (that the QR code directs you to) sent via e-mail. To be honest, I was under the impression that each seller received a unique link which would only work for that seller. However, it was just a generic link which took you to Fiverr’s ID verification page. This is the link that the QR code, as well as the email, directs you to: https:// www.fiverr. com/id_verification/info [Note: Hyperlink has been removed. Please do not go to this web-address if you haven’t yet received a notification to verify your ID. I have only shared this info. so that you understand every step of the process.] Once you go to that link on your smartphone, you will then be asked to enter your Fiverr login details. The verification process will start as soon as you are logged in. You can access the above-mentioned link via your PC/tablet/laptop, too. However, I am not sure if accessing that link from such devices would ask you to switch to a smartphone to proceed with the verification process. Fiverr suggests you do the verification process on your smartphone, and that’s how I did mine. The verification process consists of 2 stages: Take a photo of your passport/driver’s license/ID. Take a photo of yourself. You have the option to either go to the camera App on your phone to take a current photo or to access your photos/files on your phone to upload a pre-existing file/photo from your phone. Before proceeding to the next step in the verification process, you can also retake the photos as many ever times as you want until you are satisfied with the quality of the photo. Just like how someone had already mentioned in a previous thread, you can also upload a pre-existing/pre-scanned photo of your document by clicking on the icon that allows you to access the photos/files on your phone. I believe the more clear, sharp, focused, and bright (without overexposure, of course) your photos are, the higher is your chance of success. Therefore, I believe the easiest way to succeed in the verification process is by getting a professionally-made studio-quality photo of your ID and yourself and uploading it during your verification process (by clicking on the icon that allows you to access the photos/files on your phone). You could also use a scanner to scan your documents, but I believe a professional-quality photo of your ID (taken in a bright environment with diffuse lighting) would have a much higher resolution/quality. Here’s what I personally did: Since I didn’t have a pre-scanned image of my ID that was of good enough quality, I decided to first take a photo of my ID before starting the verification process (I used a 16 Mp camera for this purpose). It is also possible to tab out of your browser to access the camera App on your phone even when you are already in the middle of the verification process on your mobile browser.I stuck my ID onto the middle of a plain white paper (with double-sided tape). I then turned ALL the lights in my room on to ensure that the room was brightly lit and that the light was very diffuse. This was to ensure that there was no shadow projecting onto the ID while taking its photo. I rested the sheet of paper (with my ID) on a wall and then took a photo. Please make sure that the photo looks sharp and bright. I then uploaded the photo to my PC and edited it further for better brightness and image clarity. I then sent the edited image to my phone and started the verification process. In the first step, I clicked on the icon to access files on my phone and uploaded this edited image of my ID. Despite putting in all the effort to ensure that the edited photo was as bright as possible, the final uploaded image in step 1 looked dull/dark. But that didn’t seem to be an issue. Since I already had a studio-quality photo of myself taken when I had applied for my passport, I just uploaded that photo in the second step. This is the end of the verification process. You will then get a message saying that Fiverr has received your photos and that they will inform you of the result. Hardly 5 seconds after that, I got an email saying that I’d successfully verified my ID. . . . I also got a notification on Fiverr. I would also like to mention that the ID that I’d uploaded was not an entirely English document. It had German, English, and French. So, I think Fiverr accepts non-English documents, too. 🙂 I did not see any information pertaining to the number of attempts I had available and the deadline for successful verification of ID prior to account suspension. Some users have claimed that you only have 15 days to verify your ID and that you only have 3 attempts. I am not sure if Fiverr has changed this in any way. Or maybe you’re shown that info. only after you fail in verifying your ID? I don’t know. :man_shrugging: Please let me know if you have any other questions regarding the ID verification process. I’d be glad to help y’all out. 😺
  13. In a recent forum post here, we discussed the importance of adding a seller intro video to your profile. Beyond this, you may also want to consider adding videos to each of your gigs. Adding a gig video is an excellent way to showcase your individuality and stand out in the marketplace. Rather than relying on static gig images, a video allows you to effectively present what you offer in a captivating way. When making your video, keep these few things in mind. First, it’s important to note that if you upload a gig video, it will override any gig images you have. This means that the video will be your primary chance to make a stellar first impression and engage potential buyers. Your video should be high-quality, clear, and free from any background noise. Uploading a subpar video can adversely impact buyers' perception of you as this will be their first impression. Also, consider the length of your video, as videos can only be up to 75 seconds. Keep it concise and brief, using the time to introduce yourself, describe your service, and outline the buyer's expectations. Thorough, short, and attention-grabbing videos will keep your buyers attention and can push them to the next step. With this in mind, make sure to also include a call to action to encourage buyers to reach out. In addition, we recommend always having some sort of audio in your gig video. This helps it to be more compelling. If your video contains narration, opt for using your voice instead of computerized narration to add a personal touch. Finally, when you upload your gig video, make sure to always include a thumbnail. This step is important to remember because your video will pop up as the Gig Cover Image when buyers search in the marketplace. In conclusion, if you're seeking a way to distinguish yourself in the marketplace, incorporating a video into your gigs is an excellent starting point. Just follow these simple steps, blend them with your creativity and expertise, and you'll craft a captivating gig video in no time. 14. It can also be 1. Incognito mode won't do anything, since it won't deal with the fundamental issue: choosing more than 2 items will cause the response validating check to fail.
  15. The seller is probably using USD, not CAD but neither of you is being clear on what $ you are using so confusion and miscommunication is winning. Fiverr will also take 5.5% plus a $2.50 small order fee off you if you accept, but that's nothing to do with the seller. Sellers take note: always mention the actual currency you are quoting in, even if it is just USD....
  16. I was live. Witnessed the entire thing and was bored to death. It was a GPT fest without clear value for a writer. It was definitely more of a sales pitch for herself that she can use AI to help create content for you very fast. It was definitely not a webinar for writers, which was how the webinar was promoted. Regardless, as a writer myself, I learned nothing. And I stayed until the end, I didn't miss a second of that. And at the end, I felt empty, with lost time and very disappointed.
  17. Cancellations are part of the business and will at times be inevitable, but it is important to understand how that can impact your business and how can you, as a seller, manage that to avoid it potentially affecting your buyer’s experience and your baselines requirements that are directly connected to your seller level. The Order Completion Rate calculates the total amount of orders over the previous 60 days (whether completed or canceled), divided by the number of canceled orders, and then multiplied by 100 to reveal the percentage of orders completed. First, manage expectations. Your Gig should clearly define what you need to complete an order and a reasonable delivery time that’s fast, efficient for buyers, and comfortable for you as the seller. If the order goes Very Late, the buyer can cancel your order anytime. Complete your Gig’s Frequently Asked Questions section to inform buyers what they should expect and how they can help assure a positive experience. Managing expectations is key to avoiding cancellations. Whenever possible, communicate with buyers before they purchase your Gig. Within the Gig description, it’s a good practice to let buyers know they should contact you before purchasing for the best experience. This allows both parties to understand what’s involved in the specific job, ensure that you have what you need as a seller to complete the job, and agree to adjust the delivery time if necessary. Equally as important is to communicate with buyers after they purchase your Gig. If there’s a problem with your initial delivery, it’s best to avoid any mention of cancellation as an option. Instead, assure the buyer that your intention is always to complete their order to their satisfaction. Ask them for specific directions regarding revising your delivery. What if communication with the buyer isn’t working? Sometimes, an order may have issues beyond your control despite your best efforts. If the buyer is asking for work beyond the scope of your agreement or is problematic for any other reason, don’t hesitate to access the Resolution Center and if you still couldn’t solve the issue, reach out to customer support for guidance and direction. You can direct them to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on the order page. There, you may find advice for your specific problem or contact support directly. Avoiding those cancellations from affecting your Order Completion Rate it’s only part of what you can achieve by following these tips, the most important is that this will help your buyers be more informed, aware of the process and have clear expectations, improving yours and their experience on Fiverr. 19. Client asked me for available time to do meeting to share screen. I told him that We can't proceed towards meetings until we create an order. Once we create an offer then we'll have access to the zoom meeting. I did right? what should we do if client ask for meeting to make requirements clear before placing an order?
  20. Hello fellow Fiverr community members, I hope you're all doing well. I wanted to open up a discussion regarding the handling of non-performing gigs on the Fiverr platform. Recently, there has been some debate on whether non-performing gigs should be removed or not. Non-performing gigs can range from those that consistently deliver low-quality work to those that fail to deliver at all. I believe it's essential to maintain the quality and reputation of the Fiverr platform by ensuring that gigs consistently meet the expectations of buyers. However, there may be differing opinions on the best approach to deal with non-performing gigs. I would like to hear your thoughts on this matter. Do you think non-performing gigs should be removed from the platform? If so, what criteria should be used to determine when a gig is considered non-performing? And if not, what alternative solutions do you propose? Please feel free to share your opinions and insights, and let's have a constructive discussion on this important topic. Thank you.
  21. In light of our new ratings and review system, let’s discuss the dos and don'ts of soliciting reviews from your customers. Understanding the importance of positive reviews in achieving success on Fiverr, it's crucial to consistently provide an excellent experience for your buyers. This involves effective communication, upholding professionalism, and delivering top-notch work—all of which can lead to better reviews. Beyond these dedicated efforts in the order process, sometimes, a buyer won’t leave a review, and it may also be necessary to actively ask and encourage buyers to leave one to ensure you get the credit due. When asking for feedback, it’s important to adhere to our Terms of Service and avoid the following: Feedback manipulation- This is defined as using manipulative language to influence favorable reviews. Tactics such as bribing, coaching, or guilt-tripping customers are not acceptable. Examples include: “Please leave me a good review.” Or, “If you had a good experience, please leave a review". “I won’t be able to feed my family if you leave me a bad review.” “If you leave me a good review I will deliver something a little extra for you.” Threats- Steer clear of any actions that imply negative repercussions for customers leaving unfavorable reviews. Examples include: “I will ruin your website if you don’t leave me a good review.” “I will report you if you don’t leave a good review.” When in doubt, simply asking for an honest review could go a long way. Once submitted, unless it violates our Terms of Service, a review can only be changed or removed by Customer Support. If you disagree with or require further clarification on a review, you may politely inquire without being confrontational. For instance, you could say, "Hi, I noticed your recent review and would appreciate any feedback on how I could improve." In cases where a buyer unintentionally leaves a low rating, tactfully seeking clarification may prompt them to want to correct the review. If your buyer mentions the low rating was an accident, you can coach them through the process of revising the review by reaching out to Customer Support. Keep in mind that before changing the review, Support will examine the conversation to ensure no manipulation took place. Use phrases like, “if you’d like” or “no pressure” to ensure your messages are not interpreted as manipulation. Remember, maintaining an impartial tone when discussing feedback with customers is essential. Avoid placing undue pressure on them to rate you in a specific way. This approach not only ensures customer satisfaction but also safeguards you from warnings or potential bans, ultimately preserving your long-term success on the platform.
  22. I went out into the world yesterday and noticed that people were so warm and receptive, maybe because we had two hours of clear skies after it being cloudy for what feels like months. It's still crisp here in Hawaii, and there's snow on our tallest peaks. I don't so much look forward to summer, though, as it means I bake myself if in a padded room for a few hours a day and mosquitos are out full force. I look forward to getting my garden out of pots and into the ground. A crew of guys with a jack hammer and the largest compressor I've ever seen are about to arrive for the second day of breaking lava rock in order to install a fence to keep the wild pigs and dogs out. I can grow more than kale, basil, thyme and onions without mammalian destruction!
  23. I too now am stuck with a disabled Fiverr account because of this failure to verify. I took extremely crisp and clear photos 3 times and still kept getting denied. Now I have 2 clients that to them appear I am ignoring them. This is ridiculous.
  24. I made these accounts with the same email? Or with different ones? I dont have anything to gain from this action. Do these accounts made money or scammed you in any way? Cause even if I am so dumb and tried to make a new account cause I forgot that I already had one, its not the end of the world if the account was inactive all this time. Why dont you provide some clear information on this? I have to clarify that I am a seller and a client on your platform. I had a pc tech problem and I needed to hire someone to fix it. Is this the problem?
  25. Hello everyone, I am a new seller on Fiverr and I created my account on April 1st. I started publishing my gigs two days later and currently have four active gigs on my account. However, it's been 15 days and I haven't received any orders yet. Can someone please check out my gigs and provide me with some guidance on what the actual problem could be? I'm hoping that someone can help me with clear instructions. Thank you. 1.https://www.fiverr.com/s/2VR5Yq 2.https://www.fiverr.com/s/Xr1DR0 3.https://www.fiverr.com/s/96pY2D
