  1. Hello there, I'am new to fiverr, is it scam?
  2. Hi, I recently joined Fiverr for the first time and was creating my first gig. However, during the final steps, it asked me to verify my identity. I followed the steps, but unfortunately, it failed, and my account started displaying the following error at the top: Your account is temporarily disabled. Please check the email we sent you explaining what happened. --- Email :- We couldn’t verify your information Dear faraz_thedev, We weren’t able to verify your personal and business information, therefore your account has been restricted. You are still able to complete any active orders and communicate with buyers or freelancers who are part of that order, but cannot place or receive new ones. In addition you will not be able to publish any Gigs. If you have any additional questions you can reach out to our Customer Support team. Thanks, The Fiverr Team --- Reply from customer support :- Hi there, Thanks for reaching out regarding the status of your account. Your account is restricted as you have failed the verification process. After careful review, we regret to inform you that we are unable to provide another attempt at the verification process. Please be advised that the decision is final. For more information, visit Account Verification and Fiverr’s Terms of Service. Thank you for your understanding. If you have any further questions, let us know. All the best, The Fiverr Support Team --- Can anyone please help me in this situation?
  3. so I got a popup asking to verify my identity, so I click on ‘verify ID’, link is sent to my cellphone, but when I tap on the link provided, I am shown ‘verify your identity’ page again, stuck in a loop. Any advice on this appreciated if any experience similar.
  4. Hello there! Please help me. Actually after I gave the front part a photo of my ID card. In the second part, instead of submitting my selfie photo, I submitted the back photo of the ID card. Then the account is temporarily restricted after submission. After researching I realized it was my mistake. After contact with customer support they dont give me another chance and also i am not getting answer after one answer. they told me this is final decision fiverr customer support cant change it. My ID and billing information are all valid, so i think if i not back this account so can i create another account use this government id for verification and is it possible. please help me customer support . please help me @Kesha @Lena Regards Shahidul41
  5. I am a level 2 seller with more than 130 five stars rank working on Fiver for 3 years without any problem. , Fiverr recently asked for ID verification, Unfortunately, after three attempts to verify my identity, my account was restricted😔The first time there was a problem with the quality of the photo, and the second and third times I was informed that I should use another ID card. ----------------- Update: This is an old topic, My ID is verified !
  6. Your account was flagged for being connected to another account that was disabled due to a violation of our policies. I reviewed your account and as much as I understand your frustration, you were not found eligible to be removed from the Account Flagged status. However, you can still share your Gigs with potential buyers, and they can place orders with you. I did not connect myself to any disabled fiverr account and also i do not move a lot. Sometimes, I travel with my devices some other locations and do my gig from there. Is that a reason location inconsistency? Any way to verify myself and be included in the level system again?
  7. Hello @Lena Thanks for reply. you know that it was my mistake my government id 100% valid and my profile is professional there has no fault. i think fiverr should need to give me another chance for complete verify. so just can you tell me that can i create another fiverr account use this government id for verification
  8. I have one fiverr account and am trying to verify my number but it keeps saying it's registered to another account. It is not. I have 2 emails and only one fiverr account. I have a feeling not being verified is why my gigs are stuck in drafts which is infuriating. What can I do? I tried opening a support ticket and it did nothing to help. Thanks
  9. A simpler and reliable solution would be to mutually decide and agree upon WHICH TOOL can/will be trusted and used to verify the authenticity and accuracy of content, BEFORE starting the work. You can even mention the same in your gig details and inform every buyer beforehand when they place the order.
  10. twenty days ago my Fiverr account was restricted due to ID verification failure. I told Fiverr due to camera issue I was unable to verify my ID, I requested them kindly give me one more chance so that I verify my ID using the new camera device. I also told them I had not violated any Fiverr TOS, I don't understand the Fiverr decision why my account restricted and temporarily disabled. It has been twenty days i requested many times please give me another chance so that I verify my ID and continue my Fiverr journey. fiver not giving me a chance yet.
  11. I have a question in mind, so I thought to ask. I have 2 laptops, and I've created a team for SEO services, offering them through this profile. If I create another account on my second PC in the same niche, can I verify it using the same ID, meaning my NIC? Kindly guide me.
  12. Im trynna submit my id and photo but i can't I tried to do it in google in firefox in fiverr, nothing work, it won't let me click submit(nothing happens), in other even photo button don't work. ?
  13. So I had one of those buyers who ask for Y, purchase an order for Y, are told throughout the entire order we're developing Y and, after delivery, that buyer requests additional Z (not wanting to pay extra). After realizing I was never supposed to deliver Z, but only Y, the buyer gave up and simply accepted the delivery, leaving a 1 star review. The problem was: the buyer left a review saying my code was buggy. The delivered code on the platform is completely free of bugs, which Fiverr or anyone can verify, but after reaching out to the support Fiverr insists it's an opinion. Saying I'm not communicative enough, or that I don't have great design taste, that's an opinion. Saying I delivered a buggy code, while the code is literally there without 1 single bug, it's a factually false statement. This isn't a subjective opinion, it's a factual lie, also called defamation, and anyone trying to say otherwise has literally 0 idea of the difference between a fact and an opinion. They also insist this review doesn't violate their Terms of Service and Community Rules. I guess we're all allowed to lie on facts and call it an opinion. We all know how Fiverr favors buyer all the time, just be safe out there.
  14. It seems like there's a new scam-bot going around. I did scan the QR code, and after that it asks you to verify your bank details, didn't do that obviously. So please be cautious, especially as a new seller.
  15. please help me, today I received a message from @ Fiverr Support@id865688448 @ that my account having some trouble which is why I am not able to receive a new order. to restore my account need to verify with bank information. I checked my mail to ensure but did not get any mail about this issue. is it true or a scam? I have attached screenshot below. Thank You! Sohel Khan.
  16. If you receive this email telling you you need to verify, Do not answer, this is from a hacker who will attempt stealing your bank account, I am so disappointed with Fiverr after all the years I praised it to my friends, today I nearly got my bank account Hacked. please Guys be careful with these inbox messages, I mean look at the inbox its literally from someone pretending to be Fiverr Support...
  17. I hope somebody from Fiverr will read thist... dear agents and managers, it's a tedious work, but you have all the tools to verify that my story is true, do something about these policies and this case! make amend!
  18. Everytime I reach out to support and presented with Graphic that I need to verify by using the QR code attached. Several times, it didn't work and then it sent me to verification page where I needed to use my credit card to verify and all my cards were declined and I was told I need to open a REVOLUT account and then deposit $300 and then it was quickly deleted out of my account after THE SUPPORT PERSON in the text window said CLICK to verify the account. Again they asked me to deposit more money and then they would REFUND the TEST money....again they took money out. THIS IS INSANITY and NO ONE IN support with help. They again force me to use the QR code. IS FIVERR just one big scam???
  19. After having had a very intense/busy last week, I expected today to be a lazy Sunday — one of seclusion and contemplation. But — oh, no! Life would be too easy (too boring even) if everything went your way, am I right? 😉 As soon as I wake up, I usually check my mobile phone for notifications (I have ALL Fiverr notifications enabled, btw). Sometimes, I also open the Fiverr App just in case there is a notification hiding inside the App (sometimes, push notifications can be unreliable 😉 ). But, today, I didn’t see anything in the App either. After making myself some breakfast, I opened Fiverr on my PC. I noticed the characteristic magenta/pink dot by the “Messages.” There were still no notifications on the Fiverr App, though. This struck me as strange. Anyway, when I checked the Fiverr notification on my PC, it was the dreaded “Verify your ID to continue on Fiverr” message. 😰 Yep, it appeared as a notification. So, please pay attention to those magenta/pink dots and the message that’s shown! 😉 Since there are hardly any posts (from people who have succeeded in their verification process) detailing the entire verification process, I thought I’d give a very detailed description of my experience. 😃 Okay, moving on… When you click on that notification, it takes you to a page where there is a QR code (which directs you to the ID verification link) as well as an option to get the ID verification link (that the QR code directs you to) sent via e-mail. To be honest, I was under the impression that each seller received a unique link which would only work for that seller. However, it was just a generic link which took you to Fiverr’s ID verification page. This is the link that the QR code, as well as the email, directs you to: https:// www.fiverr. com/id_verification/info [Note: Hyperlink has been removed. Please do not go to this web-address if you haven’t yet received a notification to verify your ID. I have only shared this info. so that you understand every step of the process.] Once you go to that link on your smartphone, you will then be asked to enter your Fiverr login details. The verification process will start as soon as you are logged in. You can access the above-mentioned link via your PC/tablet/laptop, too. However, I am not sure if accessing that link from such devices would ask you to switch to a smartphone to proceed with the verification process. Fiverr suggests you do the verification process on your smartphone, and that’s how I did mine. The verification process consists of 2 stages: Take a photo of your passport/driver’s license/ID. Take a photo of yourself. You have the option to either go to the camera App on your phone to take a current photo or to access your photos/files on your phone to upload a pre-existing file/photo from your phone. Before proceeding to the next step in the verification process, you can also retake the photos as many ever times as you want until you are satisfied with the quality of the photo. Just like how someone had already mentioned in a previous thread, you can also upload a pre-existing/pre-scanned photo of your document by clicking on the icon that allows you to access the photos/files on your phone. I believe the more clear, sharp, focused, and bright (without overexposure, of course) your photos are, the higher is your chance of success. Therefore, I believe the easiest way to succeed in the verification process is by getting a professionally-made studio-quality photo of your ID and yourself and uploading it during your verification process (by clicking on the icon that allows you to access the photos/files on your phone). You could also use a scanner to scan your documents, but I believe a professional-quality photo of your ID (taken in a bright environment with diffuse lighting) would have a much higher resolution/quality. Here’s what I personally did: Since I didn’t have a pre-scanned image of my ID that was of good enough quality, I decided to first take a photo of my ID before starting the verification process (I used a 16 Mp camera for this purpose). It is also possible to tab out of your browser to access the camera App on your phone even when you are already in the middle of the verification process on your mobile browser.I stuck my ID onto the middle of a plain white paper (with double-sided tape). I then turned ALL the lights in my room on to ensure that the room was brightly lit and that the light was very diffuse. This was to ensure that there was no shadow projecting onto the ID while taking its photo. I rested the sheet of paper (with my ID) on a wall and then took a photo. Please make sure that the photo looks sharp and bright. I then uploaded the photo to my PC and edited it further for better brightness and image clarity. I then sent the edited image to my phone and started the verification process. In the first step, I clicked on the icon to access files on my phone and uploaded this edited image of my ID. Despite putting in all the effort to ensure that the edited photo was as bright as possible, the final uploaded image in step 1 looked dull/dark. But that didn’t seem to be an issue. Since I already had a studio-quality photo of myself taken when I had applied for my passport, I just uploaded that photo in the second step. This is the end of the verification process. You will then get a message saying that Fiverr has received your photos and that they will inform you of the result. Hardly 5 seconds after that, I got an email saying that I’d successfully verified my ID. . . . I also got a notification on Fiverr. I would also like to mention that the ID that I’d uploaded was not an entirely English document. It had German, English, and French. So, I think Fiverr accepts non-English documents, too. 🙂 I did not see any information pertaining to the number of attempts I had available and the deadline for successful verification of ID prior to account suspension. Some users have claimed that you only have 15 days to verify your ID and that you only have 3 attempts. I am not sure if Fiverr has changed this in any way. Or maybe you’re shown that info. only after you fail in verifying your ID? I don’t know. :man_shrugging: Please let me know if you have any other questions regarding the ID verification process. I’d be glad to help y’all out. 😺
  20. Well you don't have access to all the data Fiverr has. I am not a fan of the success score either. But there's a lot of hidden data here that sellers don't have access to. Fiverr does. So yeah, while we don't agree to it, we don't really have access to all the data in order to say that the system itself is flawed. Maybe it works as intended, who knows. The idea is that yes, it does seem that Fiverr wants people with bad performance to not receive as many orders, and that's why they have a new review system, success score and reviews for canceled orders. If anything, I can only imagine they will go beyond that and find new ways to penalize sellers. The reality is that they have less buyers on the platform when compared to years ago, active buyers at least. And the number of sellers is increasing, with many of them offering low quality services because a random guru online told them they can make easy money. There are tons of sellers scamming people, not delivering the work they promised, manipulating buyers to leave a good review in order to receive their work. I see both sides, Fiverr and sellers, and obviously there's no way for them to make us happy. If they remove cancellation penalties, we get back to the pre 2015 era when people were canceling orders left and right with mutual cancellations and there were no penalties. People will always manipulate the system to their advantage, because that's what they do. Everyone wants to have the perfect 5 stars and stand out. What is Fiverr going to do about this? If they implement a new system, it stays for a very long time. I doubt they will make significant changes or that the Success Score will go away in any capacity. Unless they change it with something else. They clearly invested a lot of resources and time on this, and they think it will help them push away bad sellers. The main issue I have with this system is that it compares you to other people in your category. If you have a lot of agencies that spew orders every hour, how can you compete with them? And your success score goes down because you are not an agency. If the other metrics are in your semi-control (you do the work, you are in control of what you deliver, but the buyer has the final evaluation, which is normal for an online marketplace), this comparison with other sellers is not fair. Because a lot of people don't disclose they have a team. There are Pro sellers that have massive teams and use AI, but the account owner says they work alone. Unethical, but they are not forced to anyway. And they can easily lie and say they do the work themselves, there's no way for Fiverr to verify that.

  25.
