  1. Do any single one of you sellers have observed an increase in their success scores yet? Please reply because it is kind of disturbing for me now. Many Thanks.
  2. If you're like me, you like to be up to date on the new features on Fiverr, then you have probably read through all the new features of the Success Score system. And maybe you are a little confused as well if you start poking into the details? For you who don't know what it is, here what the new Success Score is (without vague expressions and buzzwords): It's a whole new parameter that is being used to rank you on Fiverr. This success score gives you a score from 1-10 and, here is the kicker - it uses AI. The AI scrapes information from your orders, and makes a conclution if you did a good or a bad job on the order. Just so were are clear, buyer feedback is only a portion of the information gathered to make up this score, so if the buyer is overly happy but the AI thinks there was other information that made the order bad, you could risk getting a worse score. So what info does the AI use to establish a score? As far as we know it's the following: Revisions Extentions Partial refunds Feedback from buyer (public and private) If customer support needs to be called regarding the order Possibly just words and information used in the chat (I got hinted at this, but it's was not a clear answer. This means if the clients says "bad" keywords, it could affect the score. I really hope this is not the case) Again, I have gone back and forth with customer support, and they say that the AI would know if the difference between a "good dispute" and a "bad dispute". I personally do not trust an AI to make these judgements, as it can be quite complicated. I personally would like to have the score 100% determined only by buyer feedback (that is what matters, is it not?) One additional note I would like to add: It was really hard to actually find this information. All the information in the help center is very vague, and they never clearly mention it's run by AI. It's very wishy-washy (vague) and it's hard to really understand the clear cut facts of what is going on. The general questions I would like answered is: How does the success score system actually make a score for you? (yes, revisions, extentions, partial refunds or if you contact support, but we would like more details. Technical details.) And how does the AI really separate good disputes from bad disputes? This is the information I have managed to gather, please share more information you know in this thread (or if you have questions) (Fiverr staff, feel free to correct me if you feel like there is something you feel I said wrong about the new system. I am only going of the Help page and Customer Support)
  3. Success score is impossible to achieve. I currently have 19 orders and my success score still hasn't updated after 25 days! It's only text "-" (image below) I wrote to fiverr support but they told me to provide the best service and do my job. Unfortunately this doesn't help at all. I only need a success score to reach level one. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can update my success score? And how is it possible that after 19 orders it has not been updated!?!? (attachment)
  4. There Is No Success, Until You Can Break Fiverr Allgarithm
  5. After putting a lot of my time learning, researching, reading and testing Success Score it's clear it has some major flaws. I have my own ways to test and determine it, and I can guarantee you without any percentage of doubt that Fiverr's AI that determines Success Score is both poorly designed and poorly programmed. Unless Fiverr has shady intentions to let a bunch of their sellers and buyers go and find other platforms, it HAS TO change with urgency. It's clear that the way Success Score is working today is doing significant harm not only to sellers but to buyers as well. Suddenly loyal buyers are seeing their trusted sellers levels decreasing, and the majority of buyers don't have enough information about Success Score, so they probably assume something is wrong. Basicly it's bad for veteran sellers, it's bad for new sellers, it's bad for veteran buyers, and it's bad for new buyers. We don't need and we don't want AI to determine our Success Score. I suggest Fiverr let this metric go or revamp it to remove AI somehow. And as a loyal seller of this platform I also suggest doing it FAST, because harm is being done to buyers, sellers and Fiverr itself everyday. So Fiverr, this new metric is being criticized by a decent amount of users for a relatively long time, we demand an answer by your side. What are you going to do about it?
  6. after everything going well with the buyer, if a buyer marks my order as complete, gives me a nice 5 star review and gives a positive hidden review, will my success score increase by 1 or no if there is only one buyer. Or success score only increases by 1 when multiple buyers give a nice review?
  7. It's been almost 2 months now since the implementation fo success score, yet it's still the most discussed thing in the forum and outside the forum as well. Here are 3 things that remain questionable in my opinion: 1- Implementing the system all of a sudden and not gradually As much as it may be a revolution on the site to introduce the SS system, making it affect levels (features) and visibility and even if we were given that one month before it took effect. I don't think it is a good idea at all to have sellers who were active for 5+ years be facing a low score that gives them tips on how to improve yet they will be trying to fix over 2-5 years of data, while in that period of time all of their metrics were at 100%, great reviews and good tips, with no way of knowing that behind the scenes, they will be demoted to a New Seller one day (No matter what I did in the past 2 months, my success score is a rock solid 4/10) On the other hand, new sellers are having a huge advantage with a much more reactive success score, due to the lower amount of previous orders and data. 2- Comparing you to other sellers in your category: As others have already mentioned, it's not fair to compare a single freelancer to some accounts who are ran by multiple people be it an agency, or someone and his wife or friend sharing the same office. As an artist it gets even more unfair to compare me to other musicians/producers, since art doesn't have an average delivery time or an average price, it depends on how much time you need for your creative flow to give your best work and how much you and only you value your own work, at the end of the day it's the client's decision to choose you for their project. 3- The success score bar and some other mysteries We all know how the success score is a stable metric that won't change within days... However it puts you at much more stress not knowing if you're going in a good direction or not since the bar doesn't let you know if you're closer to the next score or a lower one, would have been good to have a more reactive bar that slowly shows you it's evolution from score 5 to score 6 for example or even some little indicators that tell you if you're close to the next station or not. Another mystery is the time frame that is taken into consideration, fiverr's chatbot says it's 60 days, some staff members hinted that it's over 2 years, the offical articles say that it takes a ''wider timeframe'' This leaves you wondering about your history of works, meaning you don't know when you did something wrong in order to know what you could improve.
  8. My Success score has been stuck at 4 since the new level system came in >< all my stats are 100% and I get 5 stars from almost all ratings... But it hasn't changed in any way for 1-2 months and my account has been constantly dropping for the last 2 weeks. I really don't know what to do, I would appreciate any information you can give me. Thank you.
  9. Once again, another daily reminder that the lack of transparency with the Success Score sucks. Fiverr has recently been boasting about their transparency with the new levels system but forgot to fix the most important thing...transparency.....

  11. Welcome to Fiverr! As a new seller, you are allowed for 4 Gigs. Wish ur success on Fiverr.
  12. Take action: Your performance is below Fiverr standards Low performance is affecting your visibility in the marketplace. To improve your exposure, make sure your success score is 5 or higher. Kindly Help me....
  13. Clippy AI - cunningly disguised under names like "Neo" is currently in charge of Fiverr. I know this, because my SM sent me an SOS begging for my help since Clippy AI had gone on a crazy rampage - I could hear his shrill, slightly robotic voice in the background screaming "SUCCESS SCORED! SUCCESS SCORED!" Sadly, before she could tell me what was happening, she yelped in fear as the line cut out. I fear she may have been success scored, whatever that means. In the meantime, we need to discuss this concerning new development at 5HQ.
  14. With all the latest "improvements" on Fiverr, like success scores, Fiverr's AI fetish, and changes to the level system, our mental health as sellers is more on the line than ever before. Fiverr has always gamified our careers, but it has gotten to a point where many veteran freelancers are ditching the platform or have stopped caring due to sheer mental exhaustion. Fiverr will tell you that it's for your own good – bless their hearts – so while they're busy generating some GPT drivel about these changes being improvements empowering sellers like you, I thought I'd look into the techniques you can use, at the very least to make it less miserable. At the end of the day, my conclusion is that being a freelancer on Fiverr isn't fun anymore. The community has died off thanks to low quality mumbo jumbo, while actual contributors are getting banned left and right for raising their voices about it. Anyway, I digress. Here are some stuff you can do to stress less. Set boundaries: Yes, I'm banging the boundary drum again, because it's so important for your sanity. If you've got buyers messaging you at midnight and expecting you to answer, it's time to set some office hours and stick to them. Tighten up your revisions policy: No free lunch. Make it clear from the get-go and have an easy to understand revision policy that includes you getting paid for your time. Working for free makes Fiverr even less fun. Knowing your own value has the added benefit of attracting buyers who also understands this concept. Take real breaks: And no, scrolling on Insta isn't a break. Get up, get out, get some air. It keeps burnout at bay (and it's good for you). Keep learning: Stay on top of the changes happening and read all you can about it. And when Fiverr spews out some GPT corporate speak about stuff like success scores and alike, read between the lines. There's a lot to be learned and knowing how stuff works instead of guessing will make things less miserable down the line. Know when to say no: No, that project isn't worth your mental wellbeing. If it smells fishy, it's probably not sushi, but Surströmming (if you know, you know.) Only work on projects that feels right, even if it means earning less this month. Being picky about your buyers is more important than ever, and a 100 bucks today could mean endless revision loops tomorrow. Vet your buyers. Fiverr seems intent on cranking up the stress, but you don't have to let it rule your life. Disconnect, take a real vacation, regroup, and come back when you're good and ready. Your well-being is worth more than their bottom line.
  15. I have 7 gigs active on Fiverr. I'm also a level 1 seller. How to increase my success score. Please share your real experience.
  16. After an update on Fiverr, my success score was 5, but after a few days, it dropped to 4. When it dropped to 4, I went from level 1 to level 0. Today, my success score rose from 4 to 5 again as I completed some recent orders, and consequently, I regained level 1.
  17. So....even with a strong negative impact your "success" score is still at 10? What? Excuse me? Fiverr that's not how this WORKS!!! Is Todd running Fiverr now or something?
  18. Again, people manipulate things. And if you buy on Fiverr, you will see that Fiverr clearly says to buyers that their private reviews will not be shared with anyone. They promise buyers to not share their reviews, so that's why they are hiding that info. And of course, the main reason is to have a way for them to acquire more data to feed the success score. As Cat said, there are a LOT of people that are level 2 and with a gig that has 5 stars on average. Try to see from a buyer's perspective.. I wanted to buy something myself and had to go with a local option because on Fiverr there were only 5 star people with some really bad reviews, and whose responses didn't build confidence. When you want to hire someone in the writing field and they have consistent grammar changes, yet they have over 1k great reviews... there's no wonder something needs to happen. I don't agree with the entirety of their changes. But you clearly weren't here before if you say there's no transparency. At least now we know a score and we even have a score for every gig, we know how Fiverr sees that gig. Before this change, we had to go to the success manager to figure out why we don't have orders, which is a paid service by the way. And they didn't say a score, they just said the buyer satisfaction rate is low. I don't think the success score is perfect, and there will always be private data hidden from the sellers, for both reasons mentioned above. You want the success score to be revamped, maybe it will, but remember that while it can get better, it can also go the other way too, with even more anti-seller changes 🙂
  19. Hi guys, i'm new to fiverr I just made 2 orders but my success score is still not showing I'm wondering how many orders I need on my gig to start showing my success score Thanks.
  20. Good day ! I was a level 2 seller. It's been 3 months that one of the buyer order and later he told me that he is not ready yet and want to cancel the order. I contacted the customer support and they cancel the order without effecting my order completion rate. But then after one or 2 days fiverr level system updated and My gig got vanished from first page. I was also able to see Fiver's Choice badge on my profile but it's been 3 months now I am unable to find my gig on fiverr and my success score was 5 and after one week it decreased to 3. I mean everything messed up when Fiverr launched the system level update. Now I am trying hard to rank my gig back by sharing that to social media platforms and I also got around 10 to 15 orders from my old clients and they all left 5 star reviews but still my gig is dead. I really don't know what is happening. I really need help. I have 4 star ratings from only 4 buyers which is very old. Five stars are from 350 plus buyers. Would fiverr ever rank my gig back ? What steps should I follow ? Would be grateful for suggestions. I was having Fiver's Choice badge for 3 days only before this mess happened and now I am zero on fiverr. If my gig won't rank back then how would I get new orders ? How would I make my success score 3 to 10 if I won't get orders. My gig Link : https://www.fiverr.com/s/ykyqkq Thankful for your guidance !
  21. Hey @gbrl_c - It's nice to see a new face here. I just wanted to pop in with a bit of advice really quickly. My suggestion would be to write a message in your thread directly to Fiverr in the future, and then leave the thread. Unfortunitly, as I am sure you've noticed, there are quite a few people loitering here who LIVE for getting into ?debates? like the above. It will ruin your day, trust me. And absolutely NO good will come of it, in turn, it will just sour your impression of the platform and its community even further. The people who are successful on Fiverr, running businesses by themselves or with their teams, or with the help of AI - are far too busy to sit on this forum all day and rage on every thread that pops up. You really don't want to get sucked into a back and forth on here as it will truly damage your impression of Fiverr as a whole and make you feel defeated. I started selling on Fiverr one year ago, and I am one Success Score point away for Top Rated Seller level. Just keep your head down and take the opportunities you receive, then make the most of them and before you know it, you'll have to make Fiverr your full-time gig or expand your team. A job, whatever it is, freelance or employee, literally does not matter in the long run. What is important is self improvement and growth on your own journey as someone who offers a 'service'. ALWAYS focus on having a good time and doing your best, overthinking things that are out of your control will only get you down, however that does not mean do not share your opinion or personal perspective. Just do it in a kind and respectful way, and then walk away. You are valued, and your observations and opinion matter, and help make a change for the better. Going back and forth with the shadows on here does nothing. Trust me. Just have a good look at this forum and the profiles of certain individuals, and you'll quickly realize the difference between those who rise to the top, and those who who sit on forums all day complaining about why they can't see light anymore after digging for 10+ years. This forum is a dark place. Seriously. Drop your suggestions here directly to Fiverr, and avoid the trolls hiding under the bridge. They'll do anything they can to add to your frustrations and leave a terrible impression. Fiverr is what you make of it, yes it has limitations and it is not perfect in any way. Like at all. But once you stop caring, and just enjoy the opportunities you get and the fast-tracked learning that comes alongside all of this, you'll soon realise that the value is not at all in being a Pro Seller with a few badges and c**p on your profile, or having a perfect success score. It's about you, learning and growing, and the connections you make with the clients you service - making some money on the side, all the while. And who knows, if you do things right, and you're lucky, with a dash of talent and optimism - you'll be a free human with a steady flow of income far greater than you could have ever imagined. Heck, you might even be able to help others and expand your team, further adding value and building a community around yourself. Stay with the times. Adopt AI to streamline your processes and help with your business as much as possible (just like how Fiverr is doing), without using it unethically in any way. And avoid this place, most of all. Haha, I'm rooting for you dude! Seriously, you can make a lot of progress in life on here, and hopefully, not end up like certain users on this forum. Luckily they serve as GREAT examples., of exactly, what not to do. 🖤
  22. But how do you actually break fiverr's algorithm - from my pov I do think there nothing called breaking algorithm, we as a seller have to give proper geniue and effective services thats the key to the success:)
  23. Hello! I hope you all are doing well. My question is, why is my success score so low? I have fewer negative reviews than positive ones, and I've surpassed all the metrics, even as far as top-rated, besides the success score. Before the new system, I was a level 2 with no issues. I'm told I am below Fiverr's standards, and all my gigs are no longer promoted. Any help/clarification on the matter would be excellent. Since the new system started, I have completed at least 4-5 gigs, all of which I got good feedback on, and my score has not changed. Any help would be great. Perhaps I'm just unaware of how things work now. Attached are screenshots showing several stats about all my active gigs that receive orders and other numbers.
  24. Highly agreed. I also experimented with everything to bring up the success score but nothing has changed. Only the sellers that have a success score of 4 or below are just facing this, Those who have a score of 5 or above 5 are observing an increase and decrease in their scores.
  25. The issue here is the lack of transparency. We can control every other metric on the level system EXCEPT for the success score. Yet it is the one that negatively affects so many sellers on the platform. Fiverr has been boasting about their new improvement in regards to 'transparency' with the new level system but they forgot to fix transparency. Why does the review system even exist if the success score dictates everything about the gig?
