    Beware for this new Scam?

    While scammers on Facebook may try to deceive people by claiming that their "Facebook account is at risk", they definitely cannot use Facebook's own identity. This is because Meta has its own identity verification system, where each account can verify its own identity. This also applies to Twitter and Instagram. Otherwise, government agencies, large companies, or celebrities would not be able to use social media without verifying their identities. In fact, Elon Musk even faced many problems on Twitter due to identity verification issues.

I appreciate your effort to help, especially the mention of @ana_tomy to possibly check my case. I want to share that I have indeed reached out to Fiverr Support, seeking clear reasons for the account disablement and offering to verify my identity with any necessary documents. Unfortunately, the response from support was a reference to a "careful review" by their team on Feb 21, 2024, which resulted in the permanent disablement of my account due to guideline violations. When I proposed providing any documents required for verifying against the Fake Identity claim, I was informed that the decision was not within customer support's purview to alter. They stated, "Please keep in mind, that since the decision taken on your account is not handled by customer support, we will not be able to influence the decision. The decision taken on your account is final and will not be changed." This has led me to seek advice here, as I am trying to find a way to obtain more detailed information about the reasons behind my account's blockage. I genuinely appreciate the Fiverr platform and am eager to continue building my business with it. My aim is to resolve this misunderstanding in a way that allows me to restore my account and continue contributing to the Fiverr community. If anyone has insights or advice on how to proceed in situations like this, where the standard support channels have not resulted in a resolution, I would be immensely grateful. However, fiverr isn’t accepting my phone number – it just says “there’s something wrong with this number” but doesn’t specify what.   11. I’m on my first gig, I’m trying to “verify” my gig at the last page, and it doesn’t allow me to put my phone number in the phone number spot. It just lets me put my prefix, and nothing more. I can't publish my gig. It is showing in Drafts.

  19. I got a notification from Fiverr that I need to verify my id. I took a photo of my passport and then a selfie but got an email that the photo quality was bad. I redid it but got the same email. I'm taking the photos with iPhone 13, so it shouldn't be bad quality. I took another one in the morning, thought the lighting would be better, but it wasn't approved, and my profile got restricted. What should I do? Maybe the program can't match my passport photo with me now as I have completely different hair style and color? I don't know why it's having technical difficulties, but I do know that my profile shouldn't be restricted as I'm not doing anything wrong; just trying to upload the pictures.

I am currently working as a manager for my wife's company, handling orders and communicating with customers. Recently, I received a notification to verify my identity in order to continue selling on Fiverr. P.S : All billing details, GST number, and other required information are under my wife's company name. Question : Should I provide proof of my wife's identity or my own identity? Thank you.
