60% rating from 2 customers. it was Thanksgiving


I love fiverr but the system is very difficult to work with. If you end up with many gigs and customers that dont even know what they want, yet expect it done right away. Your rating gets dramatically affected. Now I must hope business goes well with a bad rating. Just because of a few indedsicive customers. Lets not forget it was Thanksgiving.


So sorry that you had to go through this. Keep in mind that you can always put any of your Gigs in “suspend” mode, especially right before the holidays or a vacation period.



Sorry you had to learn the hard way. But it was only Thanksgiving in the USA.

Many of us in the states did one of two things;

  1. Suspended our gigs
  2. Extended delivery times.

    We also communicated clearly with Buyers letting them know we would be down for the day, weekend or week.
