You can’t. You have to add $5.00 at a time.

If you like to purchase a gig of $5, just go ahead and do it. You will be charged only $1 on paypal as you already have $4 in your account. (i am not sure if this now works or not, but 7 months ago it worked for me when i get my first gig payment and i like to purchase one gig).
