"Add text to your audio file?" (Resolved)

Question

Hey gang, I’m trying to upload some audio samples for a voice work gig, and when I do, it’s giving me a file upload error; “Please add text to your audio file.” I’m not really sure what that means. Do they want a transcript? Is there some way to encode text into an audio file that I’m unaware of? It was originally a .wav file that I exported from audacity into an .mp3, if that helps at all.

Thanks for any help you’re able to provide!

You need to name your track. For example “studio sample” …“IVR” etc. There is a gray box with a pen icon right underneath the play button.

Thank you for your reply! However, I can’t see that gray box/pen icon. Here’s a screenshot; am I looking in the wrong place? Thanks again annai80 for the help

You have to upload the audio file first. Then you should be able to name it.

If you have issues with the upload try a different browser.

Don’t forget to add your main gig video first.
