Buyer behaviour and payment safety

I have refunded all amount to buyer as he cancelled order because he was not willing to continue it because of unknown reasons. But he mentioned in order that seller(me) is not able to finish it at all.

Based upon this, I have a concern if buyer want to cancel order at the end and not willing to justify it while seller claims that work done is according to his requirements. So the seller cannot get payment and also may loose rating as cancelled orders rating also effective on seller profile.

So my question is how much guarantee is of payment if buyer cancel the order without justifying.

I have raised this issue because I am signing another proposal for another client that is a big project and I want to make sure that my efforts would be safe if done well.

So give me confidence that fiverr is a platform where work and payment guarantee provided or we should use bank LC system.
