Buyer refusing to cancel

I have the following situation and need some feedback:

A buyer purchased my gig, but did not provide enough information for me to complete it. I politely requested the information twice and then asked to mutually cancel when I received no response. I get a notification that my order is now late because the buyer refused to cancel. He refused to cancel, but still had not provided the information. I again asked to cancel unless he would like to provide the information and I have a feeling this is going to go back and forth. Is there anything I can do to not have this negatively impact me?
