Buyer sent malware

Hii buyer sent me a docx file and I opened it in protected view still looks like he successfully sent me a malware. My laptop is legging and I don’t know what should I do. I haven’t discussed this with buyer coz if it’s not his fault then I might end up with a bad review for nothing. But I’m sure my laptop started behaving weird after opening his file. What should I do?

What makes you think of it? Did you open the task manager to see what is eating up memory. I am not sure about your laptop specs but mostly this happens when the word doc has too many images or 100’s of pages.

What you might to do :

1. scan and remove the malware.
2. check your harddisk health.
3. re-install your laptop os. ( only if needed ).
