Buyer who wants to chat

Hey,

How do you deal with buyers who don’t simply pay you and tell you what they want, but they want to chat, like “Where re you from, about this situation, about studies and others”

I understand the Covid situation and we all need more socialising but I just feel bad to go away. I mean…I have a lot of things to do. Some buyers are super friendly, write some jokes and are really chatty, but I just feel bad if I don’t answer.

Perhaps it is the first one, since he is a great businessman and told me already about his journeys in different countries and about how many orders he had during quarantine.

Well I guess it is a plus for a person like that. At least they are communicative and don’t make you rush during projects.

At least when they are friendly, I find I have very few that end up having issues—but there was one. 😳

If we have to talk about issues with buyers, I have a really funny story with a “Stalker”, but let’s not ruin our days/nights by thinking about the past.

We have already managed to solve those issues (FORTUNATELY) 😃

Had a similar buyer.

He talked a lot which made me think he was going to commission me at a point, and then I find out he’d bought somebody else’s gig and even reviewed it while we were talking.

What the point was, I’ll never know. Guess he just wanted to kill time. 😂
