Can anyone tell me how I can promote 2 specific gigs?

I just started off as a seller a few weeks ago, and I have created 2 gigs. I offer a live course on the Visual Basic programming language in one gig, and Data Entry services on the other. I have tried promoting on Craigslist and even told a friend of mine to help me out by sharing it on his social media. However, I still couldn’t get any sales. I couldn’t even find a suitable buyer request to send an offer to either. Can anyone help me on what to do next?
