Can person use world's religious founders' image as their LOGO for their business?

I’m a graphic designer on fiverr and yesterday I got an order for a facebook cover but I didn’t check order details or images…Today also got an order from same person and I checked the order details and images for send him a thank you message about ordering my gig…But when I check the images,what I saw? That person use Lord Buddhas image as his business logo…I’m a Buddhist too…So I canceled the both orders because we don’t like if someone use religious founders’ images as a business logo…I’m very happily working here and I want money… but I don’t do such a bad things for money.I’m earning money as reasonable.I like to know your idea about this,Am I correct or not…Thanks.

Of course they can. It’s not ideal as it will alienate some people though.
