Can you advertise you gig on Facebook or other socal networks

Hi,

I was wondering if I can buy advertisements on Facebook or other social networks for my gig or my Fiverr profile? Or maybe it is against Fiverr rules? This wouldn’t be spam in Groups or something like that. It would be a legit ad bought and approved by Facebook linking straight to my Gig/Profile.

Maybe someone from you has tried this out and can share their experience about conversion rates or if it is even profitable?
