Hi,

As long as you don’t use the e-mail ID to contact the client outside of Fiverr, you are good.

But, if it is absolutely required for you to contact the client (outside of Fiverr) in order to complete the job, contact CS and get their due permission BEFORE contacting the client outside of Fiverr.

Hi, Client sent his email id as for the access on a site, which i needed for login.

I didn’t ask the email id, but that’s how the login works.

should i be worried about policy violation?

On this occasion, so long as it’s in the order page, you should be fine. You’re not actually going to use the email address to contact the buyer outside Fiverr, you just it need to login to their WP.

As @lloydsolutions said it’s mentioned in the ToS as being allowed.

I often need website details, phone numbers etc - never been a problem, so long as it’s part of the order details.

I don’t want to open a new topic, so going to ask here. Does anyone use dropbox? Is it ok?

As I often receive many big files, photos to edit and this can be done through dropbox or wetransfer. Have not had any problems, but just asking for any case

Hmm - it’s mentioned here as not being suitable:

https://sellers.fiverr.com/en/article/deliveries

Form here - bottom of the page, it looks like wetransfer is allowed:

https://sellers.fiverr.com/en/article/seller-faqs

I know other users have mentioned using dropbox in the past, but better to stick to the allowed URLs? 🙂

Problem is buyers straight make the order and send the dropbox link…

It’s not your fault if the buyer sends you a dropbox link! 😉

Maybe you could say in your FAQ that you’d prefer a wetransfer one if possible? You could ask CS if it’s alright for buyers to send dropbox links just to be on the safe side and cover yourself? It’s unlikely that buyers will read the allowed URL section of the help centre, so wouldn’t know that dropbox links aren’t allowed.
