Commercial use licence and selling the copyrights of illustrations - not the same thing

Hi

i am asking an “extra” for using for a commercial use for an illustration i make for buyers.

it is not much. (20$) - the illustration is not too expensive too. i really offer reasonable Prices for illustrations. Sometimes lower than what they are worth.



They can use it for a commercial use, but it stays mine.

some clients often asking me why they need to pay for the copyrights another extra payment. (40$)



I explain that commercial use payment is NOT including buying the copyrights!

Buying the copyrights out of fiverr is realy a very very expensive thing, because they will own the illustration and do with it whtever they want to… for ever!



here buyers sometimes complain they need to add for it.



am i doing right?

Ok so i will add this, because in the illustration fiels this is what i know, in the world… You have to buy the copyrights…
