Contract needed for Consulting services

Hi,

I am planning to create new gig in which I will offer “equities trading psychology consulting” but I am not sure if I need to have a legal contract for this type of work? Dealing with people and their finances tend to cause a lot of emotional turmoil and I’d like to legally protect myself as much as possible.

If I do need a contract, what should it include?

Thanks in advance.

Have you already read the ToS and Community Standards?
What result are you offering?

Do not:

Promise a service outcome which is not in your control
In certain instances, sellers may be tempted to promise outcomes of their service which is not in their control. For example, guaranteeing to restore your Amazon account or promising an exact amount of viewers for a Youtube video by its digital promotion. Please refrain from promising outcomes that are not in your control because it misleads buyers.

Thanks,

I’ve read the ToS but did not realize there was a Community Standards.

I believe I am offering something that is in my control so I should be fine.

There’s also a Privacy Policy fyi, though most of that is fairly standard.
