Custom offer, or just spam?

So this morning I logged into Fiverr and noticed I had a message.

I checked what it was, and it said something me receiving a custom offer. Huh???

This seller said something like Hi, I can activate your software. That’s it, just one sentence.



Number one, I never asked for such services, and number two, if this seller simply sent me this

message in hopes of getting an order, I must say "Pffft, yeah right."

I guess my question to this guy is are you seriously thinking you can get business by just sending a

short sentence like that? But again, I have seen many unprofessional messages here so what the heck.



So…how exactly does this “customer offer” work? I’m sorry if someone already covered this in another thread,

but is it just another way to spam people???
