So some of you may remember the last topic i wrote. An order was canceled. I have been speaking with customer support and they are just literally a joke.
The customer support gives me 3 reasons to for the cancelation of the order. I have answered these like 10 times, with screenshots. I would like your opinion again.
1: The delivery took 30 hours instead of 24.
Now, I believe the buyer can only cancel after 24 hours the deadline, as I have seen on order page on a few late deliveries. But this doesn’t matter for this because the buyer agreed an extension I have delivered the first version at about 30th hour. So I had 48 hours, and I delivered the first version at 30th hour, final version at 40th hour.
Can anyone tell me how this warrants a cancelation? The buyer agreed?
2: Poor quality work
This is just a lie. The buyer looked at the first version, requested some changes. I made the changes and send the final file. He said GOOD WORK. There is also the source file thing, which I will adress in the next point.
3: Source files was not provided
Now, the buyer did not request source files before this point. So it is my belief that the buyer has no right to the source files as part of the job. I can give it to him as an extra, or I choose not to give source files. Correct me if I am wrong. But since he paid so much, I said I will send him the source files. But i have not prepared the source files to be given (premiere source files are messy if you are not careful) and I was not home so I couldn’t send the buyer source files, right at the moment he requested. He had a problem with this and decided to lie, saying the work was poor etc. He was rude but still I send the source files at 6am. By this point the buyer accepted the work and left me 1 star with a lying review. CS canceled the order 2 hours later.
I told CSS all and more, with more screenshots. They keep repeating, saying the source file was not delivered a few times etc.
Now the latest message I recieved from CS support says two things, first is that I have not delivered within the deadline which I said to them 10 times, the buyer agreed an extension! They are just repeating stuff. Just tell me if an extension is worthless or not. He was happy to approve at the 40th hour, how can he claim late delivery?
Second one suprised me.
“and also providing the work via Google Drive link to which buyer had to access to and could not use the work, which is not in compliance with our policy.”
This is just the last drop. Fiverr was bugged, I couldn’t see the buyers files at the requirements section. I asked him to send necessary files via dropbox or google drive. He sent them via google drive. I couldn’t deliver the files at delivery section, it wouldn’t upload, so I delivered via Google Drive as well. And they are saying that “he could not use the work”, what a joke! He saw the work and said it was good.
I can’t believe Fiverr does this. I answered their reasons to cancel and I did not get any answer to why my answer is wrong, they are just repeating stuff. Here is a little recap of my conversation
