If it is a fair price it is okay, because he may have more buyer contacts than you. I had to work more on projects for less money when I first started. Until you are known that is how it works. But $5 for 1500 word is not enough.

You set your price. If you believe your writing is worth more then raise your prices.

There’s nothing wrong with reselling. If you have a problem with it then put it in your gig description so that resellers can choose someone else.

Sellers are allowed to buy gigs. You get to set your price. The person who buys the gig has the right to resell unless you make other arrangements. If there is a problem beyond that, report it to Customer Support.
