A great design is the one that lets people understand and desire the product quickly and naturally.

A poor design may look impressive but if it makes understanding or working with the product harder, it is busted. Too many people think that fancy Logos or GUIs make their product better. Not so.

The design that lets users understand what the product is, stands for, how it works is the good one. Nothing else matters (or should be entertained).
