Did I say it wrong? What can I tell a client when he asks these kinds of questions over and over again?

Way too many words used by you.
If they ask for a free sample and you are not going to do that, simply give the price and if they ask again say no thanks. Saying things like “don’t be a scammer” or “I eat, I pay rent…” is not a good approach. You are not going to convince someone in that way, so just say no thanks and leave it at that.
