So I made a new (B) account so I could have a new username. I disabled my old (A) account and not sure if it’ll take a while. I’m having a hard time verifying my new (B) account with phone number since disabling my old (A) account… I hope that made sense.

You should have asked CS for permission to open a new account. If your old account is still not deleted, it means you have 2 accounts, and that’s a huge ToS violation.
I assume CS is customer service, how do I get ahold of them?
Use the ‘Seller Help Center’ option and you’ll have the option of submitting a support ticket.
