Hello there i have been using fiverr for not too long now and never had any issues with it. however i am currently facing my first one from a seller who didn’t deliver the work on time due to “personal and technical reasons” and after been giving more he came up with a the wrong work. i rejected the work and made him realise how unhappy i am with the work he has done and how long its taking. Now he opened a dispute against me saying he cant complete the work due to “personal and technical reasons”. Now here is my concern, if i accept this dispute, do i get a refund or will it favour him because he opened the dispute or should i reject the dispute. Basically all i need i refund and i can carry on to look for other sellers to complete the work. please i need urgent advise. thanks

It doesn’t matter who initiated the dispute, if it is accepted by seller and buyer and the gig is cancelled , the Fiverr credit is returned to the the buyer’s account.

Accept the cancellation to get the refund.
