Do you get attached to the writing you created and then feel sad when delivered to someone else and they give it their own name?

Do you feel attachment to the work you created and then you feel sad because it’s gonna publish by someone else’s name? I am talking about the creative writing.

It sounds like something that would only happen to new writers without much experience selling their writing. Someone who writes articles and stories to sell for the use of others would hopefully just take it in stride as what they do every day to earn a livng.

I don’t, really. The person paid me, so it’s a win-win situation when they use my work. My buyers appreciate what I do and often publish it to be appreciated more. I’ve even ghostwritten award winning novels, so I take comfort in the fact that it means my work is good enough to publish whenever I decide to start querying my novels/short stories/poems.
