Do you know what you have agreed to?

For those of you who agreed to the terms without reading them in full, here are some things you might not be aware of.

• You are not allowed to break third party terms, this mean if your gig involves a third party you need to check their terms to make sure your gig doesn’t violate, or better yet ask the third party personally if they approve of your service.
• Once you registered you have agreed to pay a yearly account maintenance fee at the end of each year, as a buyer you will also have to pay a processing fee when you pay for a gig using any third party payment processor.
• As a seller you are not allowed to deliver empty orders.
• Order cancellations can be performed by Customer Support up to 13 days after completion. Acceptable reasons for cancellations are when the delivered service does not match the description of the service or naturally if no service was provided.
• You are not allowed to share any outside contact information with the intent to communicate outside of fiverr, but you are allowed to share contact information when a gig requires it.
• Fiverr terms do not extend outside of fiverr so you dont need to break ties with all fiverians you know on the outside.
• August 13 is the official fiverr day and you have agree to ware fiverr green on this day.
• Refunds are made in the form of credits by default, in some cases a cash refund to your payment provider can be performed by our Customer Support.
• Fiverr does not allow any exchange of adult oriented OR pornographic materials and services. As the age limit is 13 years old basically all material on fiverr needs to be family friendly.
• Buyers pay Fiverr in advance to create an order and sellers get paid 14 days after the order is marked as completed.
• At least one (maybe more) of the above statements is at least partially fictional so guess you just have read the terms in full to find out which one or ones are bogus. http://fiverr.com/terms_of_service

I would add a bit.

Regarding “if your gig involves a third party you need to check their terms to make sure your gig doesn’t violate, or better yet ask the third party personally” I think this is a GREAT tip. For those who may not understand the words “third party” that basically means a site or entity other than Fiverr. So, third party sites include Facebook, Twitter, Google, Amazon, etc. It also covers things like - the user of a profile photo or gig image that belongs to another person/company since those are non-Fiverr entities.

Regarding “You are not allowed to share any outside contact information with the intent to communicate outside of fiverr, but you are allowed to share contact information when a gig requires it.” This is correct, but I would strongly suggest that you have Fiverr approve your gig if it regularly requires contact info exchange. You could head off a probably caused be an automated scan of messages.
