Does anybody here lost their Level Badges?

#1

I just received a message from fiverr that my level 1 badge was revoked due to my recent activities which is very vague for me. I received tons of order today together with its gig extras and now its all gone. This is really unexpected and in despair. I cant believe that fiverr will do something like this. My conscience is all clean i dont deal outside of fiverr, I never ask anything from buyer, i maintain my good track record to avoid things like this and all of the sudden i was hit??? What is happening fiverr team? You just screwed a loyal hardworking seller.

Yes, it has happened to a number of us. There was short while while it was happening without warning and really cause.

The “activities” tend to be things of the nature of trying to circumvent Fiverr or other TOS violations. It can be re-earned if it was legitimately lost…and if it was an error, Fiverr usually fixes it with some follow up.

Of course, you may or may not know if you violated TOS, but hopefully you’ve read them well enough that you know in your heart if this is happening for that reason.

#3

Did you send a request to Customer Support?

#4

I have heard of a few people losing their badges or been downgraded!!

It does happen and there is a reason why the rules are in place. Alas support is your own way to really get any results. All we can do is a say “awww shucks, sorry to hear that”

#5

wow that’s really scary to know that you can actually lose your level.

#6

Yeah well means that you have to work hard all the time or just be very clever on how you manage your gig.

#7

Too bad, I feel really sorry for you. Perhaps customer support should be able to rectify this.

#8

If you are 100% sure you didnt do anything bad, I’m sure it was a mistake. It could even be someone (or somebot!) reported you even…

Contact customer support, and hopefully you can get it back ASAP

Good luck in getting it back. They did the same to me… The thing is that their Terms of Service are legally ambigious. They use terms that made my lawyer laugh, he said if you push it you can get it back…

I feel like they can screw up our sales without recourse. Who watches the watchers? lol

Here is what I wrote them…

I would suggest that your company add something about this in the terms of service. While I understand what you are trying to say ,you can not prohibit something that is not in your terms of service. It is like a contract, and it should be more than just a summary. It should be specific. There is no mention of your “competetors” in the terms of service, and technically from this point of view ever website is your competitor…

I have been looking at the forums and there are more than just a couple of people who get droped down levels and do not understand why. This seems to be an arbitrary system that doesnt allow “websites” but doesnt meantion which and I believe that Fiverr.com needs MORE SPECIFIC in what it does and does not want us to do. There also needs to be a better education system that lets us- your clients too- know how you want us to do better business on here. I would point out that the forums are not immediatly available to everyone, and not everyone uses them…
