go_hike
Hey everybody!I am wondering what is Fiverr’s policy on paying wage taxes on behalf of freelancers, living in countries other than USA? In some countries the employer is required to pay wage taxes for freelancers. I am curious how it is approached with Fiverr? Does it deduct and pay taxes to some of the countries, or is it still the responsibility of a freelancer himself? Many thanks for any information! All is hugely appreciated!Asking for a friend 😉
cyaxrex
You are not employed by Fiverr. Wherever you live in the world, you are responsible for paying your own taxes.
spetto
All sellers are responsible for their tax obligations.Per the Terms of Service:Sellers are responsible for paying any direct or indirect taxes, including any GST, VAT or otherwise, which may apply to them depending on residency or location. Sellers represent and warrant that they comply, and will comply at all times, with their obligations under income tax provisions in their jurisdiction. The price shown on the Gig page or on the Logo Maker order page is inclusive of all such taxes and charges that may apply to the Sellers.
