Easy Ways To Promote Your Fiverr Gigs

#1

Having a gig is no use if nobody is going to even look at it. You need to promote your gig, so you can make sure you’re getting the sales your gig deserves. Publicizing yourself is important in any line of work, and of course, fiverr is no different. As important as it is, though, it is not always easy to get the word out about your gig. Tere are several methods you can adopt to do this.

Presumably you have a fiverr account and you have a gig set up. If not, go ahead and check my article on how to set up a winning gig. It will teach you how to get started on fiverr, and hopefully help you out if you aren’t sure on what to do.

The major method of promoting your fiverr gig is social networking. Using sites like facebook or twitter to get the word out is not uncommon, and it is quite effective when done right. Since facebook is one of the most visited websites on the internet, and twitter is not far behind, you can see how it would be useful.

For this to work, though, you need to have an enormous amount of friends or followers. Ideally, you would want to set up another account that is strictly for professional use, so that you don’t mix up your personal life with your work.(Note - A lot of people seem to think you shouldn’t make a separate account. Think about it this way. Would you REALLY want your potential clients hearing all about the great tacos you had for dinner last night? It’s about keeping up professional appearances.)

There are a lot of different ways you can then go about getting your friends or followers, or ‘likers’ as the case may be, but that is a tale for a different article.

Another way to use social networking is to get somebody else to utilize their friends and followers by posting your fiverr gig on their page. This is a great alternative to doing it yourself, especially if you don’t have the time to gather any friends or followers on your own. In fact, fiverr itself is a good website to purchase some advertising. Some people will tweet your gig to their thousands of followers for a measly $5. It is a worthwhile investment and a definite win-win for everyone.

If you participate in any forums or other websites which allow you to have ‘signatures’, putting a link to your gig in your signature is a simple enough way to try and get some extra traffic coming into your gig. Backlinking your gig into any other website you use is always a good idea, just to get that little extra boost of traffic that could see you more sales. In short, plaster the link to your fiverr gig all over the internet. Make sure lots of people can see it. Pay particular attention to websites that are related to the gig that you are offering. This will give you targeted traffic, which is invaluable to a seller.

Or maybe you could purchase your traffic from fiverr! There are thousands of gigs that offer you traffic to your website, and for only five bucks, that’s actually a really good idea.

Always remember to be persistent. Keep trying new techniques, new ideas and new methods. Never give up, and you can go far in your online career. I wish you luck!
