Facture à l'ordre de Fiverr - Quel mode de règlement?

Bonjour,

I am new to the world of the self-employed. I want to avoid having to withdraw small amounts of money from my Fiverr account, but I’m not sure how to setup my invoice accordingly. Are earnings considered paid once Fiverr releases the funds, or only once it has been transferred to my paypal account? What method of payment do I mention on the invoice? Basically, how does one manage one’s invoicing / withdrawals with Fiverr?

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I saw anbother topic that was in French so I went ahead and posted.

The question has to do with French invoicing laws, so I’m not sure if translating it will help.

Thank you for the link.

I have already read that page, but it doesn’t really answer my questions.

Thanks anyway! :slightly_smiling_face:

I believe the money will just remain in your Fiverr account until you request a withdrawal (someone please correct me if I’m wrong here). You can time your withdrawals accordingly - monthly, when you hit a certain amount, etc - to your liking.

I’d suggest periodically withdrawing, once a week or maybe every two weeks if you need the time to build up pay, just for safety’s sake. I always get nervous about hackers when I leave money laying around in non-banking accounts, personally.

@thatwordchick Thank you for your reply.

I was definately planning on letting earnings accumulate in my Fiverr account, but I’m having a hard time trying to figure out how to match that up to the obligatory information that is reauired by french law. So the question is really more about French law, so I’m guessing I won’t find an answer in an english language forum!

Thank you for being willing to help though!

Ohhh, my apologies. That’s the American in me, assuming everyone’s financial laws work the same

Is there maybe a French freelancer’s board on Reddit, or something like that? I have to imagine freelancers in your country gather and talk somewhere on the web.

For specific information regarding your earnings suggest you contact your local tax office or an accountant.

Yerah, I never thought of Reddit. That’s the French in me! :joy:

That’s my next option. Was just hoping to avoid the bureaucratic tunnel and the cost! :slightly_smiling_face:
