Fiverr changed its green's tone

#1

Hi…
Did you notice the color change… is it for holidays or new year … not bad though :thinking:

Color change? And Buyer Reviews
#2

Yeah, I already wondered if I need to go outside and relax my eyes a bit but then opened another browser to pull a comparison green onto my profile. I like the new tone, hope it’s here to stay. :slight_smile:

#3

I was hoping for chartreuse. Is the fiverr logo a different color also?

chartreuse

They probably copyrighted a new colour ‘Fiverr Green’ i’m going to paint my house in it and get sued by fiverr

This color called “green leaf” would be a nice choice too. But then the new color is easier on the eyes. I always like strange or unusual greens. Fiverr’s choice is a very gentle green.

#6

I’d say it’s MediumSeaGreen, unless you paint the Fiverr logo in that colour on your house, you should be safe. :wink:

#7

If you do that then get banned you might regret your decision. Every time you come home it would be a painful reminder.

#8

On the other hand, they might be delighted. I’m pretty sure you need to pay quite a bit to have a house-size advert painted directly onto people’s houses.

#9

I’m sure you would have fiverr sue the pants off you.

Well, I won’t, I prefer white for outside, easier and cheaper to repaint when needed. I have some greenish and blueish tones inside, though. Telekom Magenta too in one room, and nothing happened when a Telekom guy had to come to repair a telephone wall jack. :wink:

Anyway, I love the new colour, anything greenish-blueish has my full support, even more if a bit whimsical.
The new colour fits better with the LightSeaGreen? Teal? Turqoise? of the Pro Home colour, too.
I love colour names! :smile:

The new shade of green that Fiverr has switched to has the RGB code of 1, 178, and 46 respectively (HEX # 01B22E), and according to a popular website on colors and their technical aspects (https://www.color-blindness.com/color-name-hue/), this shade of green is called “Dark Pastel Green” :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

#12

Dark Pastel Green? I don’t see that in my web colour table, maybe Wiki needs to update that. Pity, though, WhateverSeaGreen is nicer than WhateverPastelGreen. :stuck_out_tongue:

I have a friend who is broad spectrum color-blind and especially strongly blind to red/pink and their related shades… It was almost impossible (took me several hours :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: ) to try and describe to him what Telekom Magenta looked like :rofl:

Yep, Medium Sea Green sounds cooler :slight_smile:

I have a color blind friend who has to ask me what color the traffic light is so he knows if he should stop or go. He gets it wrong half the time anyway.

Way cooler…

THE SEA! the sea! the open sea!
The blue, the fresh, the ever free!
Without a mark, without a bound,
It runneth the earth’s wide regions round;
It plays with the clouds; it mocks the skies;
Or like a cradled creature lies.

I ’m on the sea! I ’m on the sea!
I am where I would ever be;
With the blue above, and the blue below,
And silence wheresoe’er I go;
If a storm should come and awake the deep,
What matter? I shall ride and sleep.

I love, O, how I love to ride
On the fierce, foaming, bursting tide,
When every mad wave drowns the moon
Or whistles aloft his tempest tune,
And tells how goeth the world below,
And why the sou’west blasts do blow.

I never was on the dull, tame shore,
But I lov’d the great sea more and more,
And backwards flew to her billowy breast,
Like a bird that seeketh its mother’s nest;
And a mother she was, and is, to me;
For I was born on the open sea!
The waves were white, and red the morn,

In the noisy hour when I was born;
And the whale it whistled, the porpoise roll’d,
And the dolphins bared their backs of gold;
And never was heard such an outcry wild
As welcom’d to life the ocean-child!

I ’ve liv’d since then, in calm and strife,
Full fifty summers, a sailor’s life,
With wealth to spend and a power to range,
But never have sought nor sighed for change;
And Death, whenever he comes to me,
Shall come on the wild, unbounded sea!

:green_heart: (< We need a Dark Pastel Green heart emoji now too! :wink: )

Best song ever about a color:
