Fiverr Income Tax

#1

Hello. OK, so I probably should have looked into this further.

I have earned $80 so far which equates to £50. Do I have to pay tax? Eurghh, I hate this stuff.

In the U.S. you don’t “have” to report income until it totals $600/ yr or more. I’m not sure if Fiverr provides you with a 1099 (used for reporting self-employment/ misc. income) once tax season rolls around…

Yes you are supposed to report it in the UK, but since it’s only 50 pound and PayPal doesn’t report to HMRC until you earn something like 5k I wouldn’t worry about it until your making some good money.

That’s not legal advice by the way :stuck_out_tongue:

I confirm this too, paypal does not report unless you exceed this amount, same in Greece.

Fiverr will not pay any type of tax.

If your government charge any type of tax then you need to pay from your pocket.
