Fiverr SEO similar to Google SEO?

Is Fiverr SEO similar to Google’s SEO? I mean, if the algorithm sees people visiting a profile quite a lot. It will start ranking it better? I was wonder if I start building links around my Fiverr’s profile and get people to click on it. Will it improve my rankings? Also, how can I use these visitors to get high-paying clients?
