Fiverr should let Buyers drop reviews before they can complete a order

#1

A buyer bought a gig but didn’t drop any reviews. Fiverr should let buyers make reviews before they can complete the order. Gigs without reviews is not progressive even if it makes money. Some buyers are just too uncaring.

#2

If Fiverr forced buyers to leave a review, many buyers would be irritated. They would leave negative reviews. If rather not have negative forced reviews.

#3

What can I do if buyer shy away reviews

#4

Nothing.

The buyer doesn’t owe you a glowing review.

If you don’t want the money, I’m sure many people would be happy to accept it from you.

#5

Reviews whorth more than money

#6

Really? Send me all your money, then. I won’t mind, I promise!

(Just in case: it was a joke, and I’m not actually asking anyone to send me their money)

#7

Leaving a Buyer’s feedback is a basic prerogative of a Buyer.

The above is from the Terms of Service which you will find at the bottom of the Fiverr main page.

Suggest you read the rules as to how Fiverr works.

#8

Please what if the buyer is asking of how he would make the review. How will he

#9

You have already created a topic on this subject.

Give this link to your buyer if they’re unsure:
https://buyers.fiverr.com/en/article/providing-feedback

Please do not ask for feedback, in the same way you shouldn’t message previous buyers.

#11

It is not hard for the buyer to know how to leave a review. Fiverr is VERY clear in their encouragement for every buyer to leave a review. Fiverr has plenty of visible links and reminders to the buyers to share feedback after each completed order The buyer is not going to miss those reminders.

If a buyer chooses to follow Fiverr’s encouragement and leave a review, great. If not, move on to the next order. Reviews are a bonus, not a requirement.

#12

You’re not entitled to them, it’s a privilege to get them, same goes for tips.

Would you rather get bad reviews?

Think of it this way:

No Review = No Problems

Your rating won’t go down, your reputation won’t suffer, and he or she might even order again. I have a buyer who has ordered 5 times, not once has he given me a review. I’m happy with him, I like his money, he can order as many times as he likes.

Cashier: Did you find everything you were looking for this holiday season?
Me: Yes i did thank you very much for asking.
Cashier: Okay your total is $105.95
Me: Not a problem! I have 117 five star reviews on Fiverr, that should cover it.
Cashier: SECURITY!!!

Buyer: I want to buy a gig

Seller A: no review
Seller B: two but 4.5 reviews
Seller C: 100 five star review

if you are the buyer which one would you go for?

By the way if you are the sellers which one earns you more cash FOR CASHIER

Let’s be realistic

#15

This is irrelevant, your comment was “reviews are worth more than money”. I simply showed you that money is more valuable.

The last time i purchased a gig i purposely picked a seller with no reviews with a good portfolio. I did this mainly to help new sellers get on their feet but also i knew i would get more for my money in return.

#16

If I was told to write a review before completing an order. I would just press random keys on my keyboard then click next. Or copy paste lorem ipsum and call it a day

#17

The only time I didn’t leave a review was when I didn’t like what I got. So if they don’t leave one you can assume they might have left a bad review instead.

@samueldesign09 you seem to only think about what you want and how Fiverr should change to be more to your personal liking.

Try focusing on creating a pleasant experience for your buyers instead (forcing them to leave a review would definitely not be a pleasant experience), and good reviews will come.
