That’s up to you. What you determine as a reasonable amount of time to work on your gigs will be different than other people’s definition of reasonable.

I’m also new and I believe that, to get work ofcourse I have to spend time on fiverr.

It’s up to you. Your store will do as you wish. However, if you want to increase sales, the longer you keep it open, the better.

DO NOT attempt to be online 24/7.
DO NOT use an auto refesher.
Read the Terms of Service to have a better idea of how Fiverr works.

I suggest spending time to improve skills related your gig.
It will definitely increase your chance of success.

That is your decision. Personally, I do not spend much time in this platform. I have Fiverr’s app and if I have a message I reply as soon as I can. Good luck.

It truly depends on how many orders you have to complete!
For example, if you have no current orders, there’s no need to spend 8 hours on Fiverr. Whereas, if you have 20 order due today, you will probably have to spend quite some on Fiverr in order to get your work done.
As @looseink said, don’t try staying online all day or using an auto refresher because it could lead to getting your account restricted!
