Gig/personal rating from a cancelled order

i had 100% feedback until me and a buyer agreed that i wasn’t going to do the logo he requested because of it being “adult content,” i am new to fiverr so i just told him to cancel the gig and when he did it was a negative feedback for a late delivery. did he have control over the rating? i know he was also new to fiverr since he asked me “how to order again” from me. he is still buying gigs from me too so i feel the negative rating was by accident or automatic. i’m waiting on a response from customer support. is there anything here that i can do to change this? now my rating is at 95% unfortunately and i’d like to reach level 2 seller… does deleting that gig erase the negative feedback or does it stay? also what can i do to avoid a situation like this in the future?
