Gig video really boost sales?

Everywhere we read that gig videos really helps to boost sales, while we see many gig with out gig video, just simple images having a lot of orders in queue.

I am about to start web development gig and thinking whether I should make a gig video for it or I should go ahead with out gig video? Some people say that spokes person video helps even more.

What is your view on this?

in my opinion it may be useful. but some byers don’t like to play gig video’s.
