Gigs for translator

Hi! I’m Katherine a venezuelan translator. I have just graduated in Modern Languages and work as a bilingual receptionist but I would like to start working as a translator in my free time. I started to use fiverr 2 weeks ago but sell my gig has been so hard so I’m looking for any advice you experienced sellers, can give me. I have already applied to 16 requests but people seem not to be interested in my services. I know start is hard, not to mention there are lots of translators here with years of experience but there must be a way to show someone I exist XD. I have read many posts and promoted my gig on social media, this last one manually because Fiverr doesn’t let me associate my facebook and LinkedIn account to my profile.
