Gig's Revamp Time Frame

In my opinion, if every thing is falling with low impressions and gigs are not ranking up then one should go for revamping or tweaking of gigs. My Question is:

What do you think after how much time someone should go for revamping the gigs with changing images, title, SEO etc. without giving any negative impact but give it a boost to get ranked?

Hope to hear some good tips with amazing discussion.
