Conversion marketing

In electronic commerce, conversion marketing is marketing with the intention of increasing conversions--that is, site visitors who are paying customers. The process of improving the conversion rate is called conversion rate optimization. However, different sites may consider a "conversion" to be a result other than a sale. Say a customer were to abandon an online shopping cart. The company could market a special offer, like free shipping, to convert the visitor into a paying customer. A co The e...

What are you doing to market yourself?

(As a warning, if you’re marketing in the wrong places or part of a click-exchange, you’ll get impressions that will never convert, and thus drive your conversion rate down.)

Guys, I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again… Impressions are NOT a good way to determine the success of your gig. We all know by now that there is a Fiverr bug that has erased the impressions listed for your gigs (yes, Fiverr knows about it, and is working on it). I’m sorry @imagination7413 I’m new to this forum thing that’s why I had no idea that it broke the rules. I’m sorry for messaging you out of the blue like and thank you very much for the help. I don’t market my gig anywhere just going by the usual do the seo right and professionally maintain it and it will yeild results but it tried doing everything from professional presentation to great gig description and tags but didn’t workout for me. Anyways thank you very much for help.

You only had 6 minutes of read-time shown in your forum profile when you first messaged me. It’s a good life lesson that when you’re new anywhere, to firsts find and check the rules.

You now have an hour of read-time, but your profile shows it all in the “New User Introductions” category. Check out the Tips For Sellers category (with filters applied --> forum.fiverr.com/c/Fiverr-Tips/tips-for-sellers/l/top/all?order=views). You’ll find hundreds of threads offering advice on a variety of things to consider and/or improve. (Note: Not all advice can apply to all gigs or categories. Be sure you check multiple sources as there are some false tips, even among the top threads.)

It takes a lot of work to make it as a freelancer, so be sure to research and plan accordingly.

Specific to your situation, please see (DES) point 7 and (PPD) point 1:

Introduction– This is not a list on how to make gigs. This is for gigs that are already made that are under-performing, need an overhaul, or just need somewhere to start for self-evaluation/education. It does contain a few general-information bits, and can help during gig creation, but that is neither the focus nor the intent. For more information on any of the following sections or points, please see ‘Other Resources’ under (RRD) at the end of this post. Sections: (TCT) Title, Category, and…

There are also a bunch of useful links in the (RRD) section.

Also, in case you haven’t read them yet, please keep updates in the same thread. It’s against the Community Standards & Forum Rules - 2020 to create duplicate threads. In the case of changes in a situation, it’s doubly important, so that people can see what advice you’ve already been given and/or what steps you’ve already taken.
