Hopeless and want to quit

Don’t call yourself hopeless. That will get you nowhere. You can do anything if you really apply yourself.

You need to improve your gig descriptions, read up on marketing techniques (not bull**** share your gig on social media ones), and provide actual samples of what you can do.

However, you are not allowed to do academic work for clients, so you should delete your assignments gig. Read the TOS.

Right now, it looks like you haven’t done any research or even applied yourself at all. You need to stop having a defeatist attitude and start to create your own success. Being lazy will not get you anywhere. You need to actually do the work instead of expecting to magically become rich overnight.

Unethical Services

Fiverr’s marketplace is open for sellers to offer any creative and productive service they wish to propose. With that being said, we ask to refrain from offering any unethical service. For example, taking part in doing someone else’s academic work (which will likely be submitted as the student’s own work) or requesting academic work to be done for you, is unethical since it violates most schools’ Honor Codes and constitutes copyright infringement. Fiverr does not allow this type of fraudulent activities and it will not be permitted on our platform.

The above is from the Community Standards.

Your account is at risk so remove your assignment gig as suggested by @vibronx

@mint_frappee Welcome to the Fiverr forums.

That’s not quite how marketing works. The OP isn’t selling art, so posting art would be pointless and spam. Establishing a social media presence properly can help, but that also takes both work and time.

Starting off is absolutely the toughest period on the platform. You don’t have a track record of quality reviews or established any relationships with buyers. To make matters even more difficult, the global pandemic and flood of people desperate to make money online makes being a new seller even more cutthroat.

The cold, hard truth is that the vast majority of seller profiles on Fiverr don’t even have a single successful order. The reasoning for that are as varied as the reasons as to why others succeed. Whether it’s by having incomprehensible gigs filled with terrible spelling and grammar, offering a service that is over-saturated in supply but short on demand, showcasing low quality product, or a multitude of other reasons that can make a gig unattractive to prospective buyers.

A buyer wants to mitigate the risk they take when purchasing from a seller. There are so many horror stories in the forum of buyers receiving terrible quality work from sellers, and they don’t want to have the same experience. A seller needs to convey through their gig that they are dependable, deliver quality work, and are able to deliver something proprietary that they can’t simply get from anyone else (or if they can, not at the same quality). If you are able to convey these attributes, it’s a step in the right direction, but STILL not a guarantee of success, because nothing worthwhile comes quick and easy.
