How do I improve and promote my gig?

I recently updated my gig and I am hoping to get a few sales on it but what is the optimal way to do that. I know I can send out ads on social media, is there anything else I can do?

I have seen people advising to stay active on Fiverr forums but what exactly should I do here that can help me and my gigs?

I keep seeing the same advice… ‘post on social media, stay online 24/7, send 10 buyer requests, offer unlimited revisions. etc etc…’ I do not believe this is good advice. But I have a question for those following it - do you check the credentials of the person giving advice? Do you look at their fiver profile?
