How does payment/refund work?

Hi, I’m a new buyer. A seller sent me a custom offer, which I accepted and paid for. Now it looks like he is not going to deliver as per the project specifications. How do I get a refund? Thanks.

If the seller has already run late, just wait until it gets late enough (I think that’s about 48 hours after due time) and you can automatically cancel and your refund will come back to your Fiverr account as credit. If the seller is not late yet, you should wait since Fiverr can’t help you until the seller fails to deliver.

Someone else suggested filing a PayPal dispute but that suggestion was removed for the forum as it is against the Fiverr Terms of Service. There is no need to break the rules with PayPal since you can easily cancel if the seller fails to deliver. You can also go to Customer Support if you need more help or advice. :slight_smile:
