How much to charge for master files?

Hi everyone.



I am an animator and a client here made reference to maybe wanting the original master video file.



How do you go about figuring a price for this?



I’m sure it depends on the project, so I will give a few details.



Client sent me one picture to animate.

I needed to split this picture into layers, animate a certain part (using animation software), then process and add effects with video editing.

Consequently, I now have three ‘master’ files:

• one from photoshop
  
• one from the animation software
  
• one from video editing ( camtasia)
  
  
  
  Length of video is about 30 seconds if that matters, and I charged 7 gigs.
