How (or when) did you find out what you are able to do on Fiverr and sell it?

Some people worked with a skill before, brought it to Fiverr, and took off.
Some others thought their skill can be in demand on the marketplace. They found out that it isn’t. And then, they ended up selling a service entirely different than what they had aimed to start out with and finally made it.
There can be many such cases.
The point is, what finally got you started on Fiverr and led you to to serve buyers without getting tired or burned out?

P.S I came here because I thought Kindle conversion or print book formatting can get me started. Many lessons after I’m experimenting with more things that I can do, So, I’m from the latter case mentioned above.
